Great location at the start of the Stowe "recreation path". You can easily grab a bike - available from the hotel, included in our rate - and safely ride to Stowe. By car it is easy to reach Smugglers' Notch and Stowe as well.
The room was large and practical, with good wifi, a table and chairs and a kitchenette with sink and microwave. Breakfast buffet was excellent, tea and coffee with cheese and crackers at noon was a nice touch.
Last but not least is the garden, with comfortable chairs near the firepit and along the river, next to a covered bridge. It' s so big you won't hear the nearby road and really feel inside nature.
Housekeeping was something we had to specifically ask for.
Not really a negative but something to be aware of: the rooms are not the newest, and it's still a motel in the sense that it is along a busy road - to Smugglers' Notch - and where your first view from the room are the cars parked outside.

Breakfast was great. Location to Stowe was important.
I guess we paid market price. It was a little expensive for what you received.
