A beautiful experience

The included breakfast, the atmosphere, and the hospitality!

TV remotes were dirty, some items in the room were dusty. However all things that needed to be clean definitely were!

It was like being in a quaint Spanish casitas, warm & cozy.

The breakfast in the morning was yum. The staff were extremely nice & so helpful.

A shower bar in the bathtub/shower. It was extremely slippery taking a shower.

Great breakfast included with room. The manager, Tanna was very helpful. This boutique hotel with only four rooms has a very cozy, quiet and relaxing vibe. Would stay again.

No soap in bathroom.

Very good

breakfast was very good. The place is funky and we liked it but as it is not like a standard hotel some people may not care for it. We enjoy unique places. There is a family room above which has the potential for being noisy depending on who is using it. Footsteps etc. can be heard.

unusual hotel very trendy. nice small porch with ocean view. covered parking. great breakfast at the restaurant and other great restaurants within walking distance

Room and location exceeded expectations

Quaint room with plenty of space and comfortable living arrangements. Free breakfast included with our room purchase.

This place is so unique. We loved the artistic vision.

Breakfast from the Peruvian restaurant in the hotel provided a lovely breakfast. The food was amazing.

An outside hose for washing feet after the beach.

The Secret Garden Inn is a wonderful hidden gem! Not only was our room clean, comfortable, and fragrant (I loved the faint whiffs of incense), but the funky and eclectic environment provided was an absolute delight. Definitely a welcome change from the uniform, stead look of a hotel room. All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful both in person and over the phone. The young woman who checked us in and escorted us to our room was so warm and hospitable with great energy. The breakfast is delicious! But have your order ready to go (the menu is provided in your room), as the restaurant didn't have a copy readily available when we popped in.

Lovely room, very close to beach and bars. Very nice host, although we only saw him briefly

it’s like walking into another country

Want to go to another country without actually leaving the US? This is the place for you. walking through the threshold you leave home behind and traverse into a Mediterranean type setting that is simply breathtaking. views overlooking the Pacific Ocean make for romantic nights. definitely a must visit.

We had great stay at the Secret Garden staff was friendly and I enjoyed the ambiance of the courtyard with fountains and koi pond we would definitely recommend someone looking for B and B staying at the Secret Garden in Del Mar.

The room is on rhe small size with a sink outside the bathroom.

Very nice bb!

It feels that you are in Europe, the place is quite and located near shops and restaurants.

I like about the property that is a small hotel and it’s nice and clean.

Would not reccomend. Kind of shaming feeling for guests. Like mean school principal.

Location in Del Mar, nice partial ocean view

Management was hostile, not accomodsting. Refused to promptly return blanket we left in room, saying we had to wait an hour or more to pick up. Had early check in, when we got there said not ready. Not friendly not welcoming. No offering how can we help, etc. says there is breakfast, but it was a lunch from the restaurant not connected to the property.
