Exceptionnel, un séjour parfait

L’emplacement exceptionnel, au pied du phare et en face de la maison de Hemingway. Un havre de paix dans la joyeuse animation de Key West. La Chambre (24) était spacieuse et bien équipée, propre et avec une très bonne literie. Piscine très agréable dans la végétation de l’hôtel. Bon point également pour le petit déjeuner complet.

Le bruit de la climatisation des chambres mais malheureusement c’est un peu partout identique aux États Unis

Still a solid option in the best location possible, but needs a bit of upkeep.

Things we love: the staff, the aesthetic, the location

Things that could use improvement: cleanliness of rooms, and general upkeep — I’ve noticed things are a lot more “worn” than in previous stays. Things are looking tatty— the trash bins, loose toilet paper holders and unpatched holes in walls, crusty sounding exhaust fans, etc. it’s just getting shabby since it’s last facelift.

Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. it was beautiful and really enjoyable.

The air conditioning would go off on the night and the room would get warm but otherwise was lovely.

Good location and size. Big enough to have a few amenities and yet not a huge hotel.

Great location. Staff was friendly Music at poolside two afternoons - however it started right after lunch when everyone was out. By the time we came back from our daily activities they had played to noone and then left an hour later. Liked having the bar at poolside. Again, the hours were very early. Pool location is private and very inviting. It's big enuf.

The bed was minimally comfortable and the bedding was substandard. Used Queen sheets on a King bed. AC was noisy and there was no option to just introduce outside air, even when the outside temp was perfect.

La struttura in sé era davvero carina. Ci hanno dato dei drink in omaggio al nostro arrivo, la posizione è perfetta (davanti alla casa di Hemingway e comunque in una zona tranquilla, a piedi/bici si arriva comodamente in spiaggia e nella parte più “animata”). Colazione essenziale ma a noi è piaciuta (bagel, muffin, uova, frutta, qualche bevanda). Parcheggio a 20$ al giorno a un isolato.

Inizialmente abbiamo prenotato solo una notte e poi aggiunto un’altra. Abbiamo dovuto fare una seconda prenotazione perché il sistema non permetteva di modificare la prenotazione esistente. Abbiamo chiesto quindi se potevano mantenerci nella stessa camera e hanno confermato. Detto ciò, la camera assegnata (nr 20) nonostante fosse carina e pulita, era in una zona buia e umida, con una finestra praticamente oscurata da tutte le piante, non vivibile di giorno. Alla fine ci siamo adattati però ecco quella camera non valeva i soldi che abbiamo speso.

A GEM 💎 IN PARADISE

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to anyone looking for a great stay. An absolute Gem 💎, Clean, Quiet, Great Location, Great Bar, pool, & complimentary continental Breakfast. We would definitely stay there again!

Outside of the very small rooms, very nice hotel.

Excellent location as you are close enough to walk to main stuff and yet if you don’t want to walk there is the bus that goes right by the hotel and is free to get on and get off where you want. You don’t need a rental car, and not a big cost to take a Lyft from airport to hotel and back. Pool is in great location. Breakfast is good and plentiful with hard boiled eggs not hot eggs, cereals, can make toast and bagels, yogurt, danish etc. Also staff is very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are very small as some done even have dressers to put your cloths in. Even though the rooms are with not much more room for other than a bed it would be nice to somehow have a couple of chairs in the room so if you wanted to stay in the room you didn’t have to sit on the bed all the time.

Located close to Duval street and entertainment

Room are very small, HVAC was loud and not very performing, fans was ticking at every rotation Iron board and iron had to be asked and were not in the room. It needs to be replaced as well at least the iron board.

Disappointing, ruined by majority of staff.

Close to city centre

This hotel should be stripped of the IHG status. Although part of the staff understands the meaning of 'service' quite well, part of the staff seems to be picked up from the bad side of town. Ignoring guest at the front desk while having personal conversations, while eating from Mc Donald's take out with mouth wide open, not looking guests in the eyes when talking to you. You get the feeling like they are doing you a favor by showing up. Try to fill your cooler a mini bit with ice from ice machine, somebody jumps on your neck that there are other guest also. Really a lack of manners prevails, with few exceptions. This hotel requires a serious audit. Rooms are small barack like, airconditioning en noisy, the breakfast is extremely cheap. Dry muffins, over boiled eggs, etc. Disappointting and certainly not worth €230+ per night. I would stay somewhere else next time.

The ice machine has been broken for a long time and the one in the bar is small and not always available. The company should replace it asap!

close to everything. We liked this property very much.

room was much smaller than i expected but clean and comfy. evening person who checked us in was amazing! she was kind and made sure we had parking.

I was not aware that housekeeping was coming into r room and left may wallet etc out. I would have preferred to have been given a heads up.

The hotel is not worth the price paid! too expensive for what you get!

Honestly, I didn't like the hotel, quite expensive for what it is and what they serve. The rooms are tiny, the bathroom is not the same as the photos, there is not even space to put things and necessaires, the room does not have a safe, a tiny bed for a couple, the white walls with large marks of black dirt, I had to ask for towels at 3 different people, in which I got to the point of going to reception and asking for towels since no one ever came to the room to deliver them and no one answered the phone at reception, they did not clean the room in a 2 night stay, poor breakfast, limited parking, we had to going to park in another hotel quite confusing. The hotel is not worth the price paid!

Would return but get room with better bathroom

It was like an oasis in a crazy busy world with beautiful gardens, relaxing pool & breakfast area

Overpriced with bad house keeping

Location was good. Having a small breakfast included in Key West a bonus

Room was very small and you can hear everything through the walls. Outside Air con units ugly and noisy outside of our room. But the most annoying was that housekeeping was terrible, not even a cover on the quilt!!! Pillow cases were un ironed and now I wonder if the bed had actually been changed before we arrived. We stayed 3 nights, day 1 the room wasn't cleaned until after we had been out for dinner so we had no clean towels, day 2 at 4.30 I had to go and ask for the room to be clean and to get clean towels, towels were in the dryer so didn't arrive until we had left for dinner again! Dirty glasses were not changed and on day 3 we left early in the morning. Pool is very small, max of 10 people allowed in at any one time. Its a very overpriced hotel, at least the 3 star is not trying to pull the wool over anyone eyes, but at this price $450 a night, its massively overpriced even by Key West standards.

In one word, disappointing.

Location was great!

Room too small for the price. As my daughter said, “one step in to the room and there’s the bed.” Wood floor had area near bathroom that was raised from I believe moisture. Loud AC unit in the room. Walls between rooms very thin… heard more than I care to hear, or have my 13 year old hear. The swing that is featured in hotel’s pictures was really dirty… couldnt even sit on to enjoy. Parking was two blocks away from hotel. I travel many places (Siesta Key, Charleston, etc), and I’ve never felt the need to complain. But this experience was very disappointing. I feel like my money was wasted.

The room was as expected as shown in the photo. I loved the comfort of the bed and the super good pillows. Simple breakfast to cover what is necessary, the coffee they offer was incredible. Its location is great, you have everything very close on foot.... The carpet that is entering breakfast must be taken into account because most of the elderly (they do not walk well and drag their feet) would stumble over that unevenness causing accidents such as throwing away their coffee hot on top or stumbles. Nice place. I would return to learn more about other types of rooms that are beautiful. Thank you

Terrible experience

The location

Everyone was surly, rude and unpleasant. There was one staff member who was wonderful and assisted us when we had an issue with our room, everyone else needs customer service training immediately. Particularly one woman who we assume was the manager who was awful and acted like we were an inconvenience and was rude to my children who were simply finishing their breakfast. We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable the whole time. The fact that my simple request of a receipt is now being ignored is just the icing on the cake. I have asked multiple times for one to check the charges, and they are not forthcoming. A complaint has been lodged with IHG and booking.com. I will be contesting the charges with our bank of a receipt does not come through today, it has been 3 days since I checked out. Your staff members are letting this property down. For the exorbitant cost we should be at least treated civilly.

Overall everything was good.

The hotel is charming. Location is excellent. Staff is nice. Breakfast is ok.

It’s hard to park near the hotel. We parked 10 min away from it and went to check in and buy from the hotel a parking ticket (parking is 5 min walk from the hotel, it’s open without security, costs $20) Our room was tiny with light and air problems (the windows are closed and the fan works all the time, we couldn’t turn it off) Also the floor in our room was dirty and the hammocks were dirty too.

Overall great! Central to everything

The facility was great and very central to everything in the city.

I wish the room had been a tad bit bigger, but it was still very comfortable for two people.

Great location and facility was nice.

Did not eat the breakfast. Location was great.

Staff not friendly. Front desk seemed a little flustered at at times. One day couldn’t get pool towels mid day. Had a few missing items out of room during our stay. Rooms not as updated as thought for the pictures posted and price of hotel.
