The location and the friendly, helpful staff.
Having to plug in the fridge then waiting for it to cool down before use.
Also the air conditioner control buttons didn't work in one of the rooms. The staff said I should find a remote in a drawer for the AC.

Good location.
Some in our party do not like cats.

I loved the cats, and the homey feel, despite it being a motel. The room was very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I liked having a coffee maker in the room and having control over the room temperature.
We were excited to try the sauna, but felt like maybe it should have been a little warmer. We were just sad that we got in late and had to leave early, as we would have enjoyed being there longer.

Friendly employees.
No vents in the bathrooms. Our bathroom was designed like an add-on box. We had to open a hallway door to vent it out after each use. Old bad ordor inside (probably mold inside the foam ceiling) that gets worse when hot steam from shower fills the "box." Bathrooms need vents.
