Staff at front desk and bar were excellent
It took between 35 to 45 minutes to get our drinks at pool side food took 45 minutes. We were woke up at 7:50 am by sawing, hammering.

It was beautiful and comfortable everywhere we went on the property.

The staff was very courteous and went above and beyond to accommodate me and a friend who both happened to be stranded in Dallas at the same time on account of a blizzard. The food from the steakhouse restaurant was excellent.
Given the price of our stay, there were a few things that were subpar and, frankly, not acceptable.
First, the television in the room was inferior and came across as a means by which the hotel tried to gouge its own customers. Unlike those in most hotels (including those that are considerably cheaper) either the television was not a smart tv or its streaming options were limited to pay-per-view., meaning that you could not log in to your Netflix, YouTube, or other streaming accounts. Smart TVs have become industry standard in hotels for this very reason. However, in order to watch anything other than live, basic cable at Las Colinas, you had to pay for it, and at a completely unreasonable price point. TVs at Las Colinas should not be inferior to those at much cheaper hotels. But they are, and adding insult to injury, they make you *pay more* just to be able to watch anything of your choosing.
Second, the towels and robes in the room were about as soft as sandpaper. At a hotel this expensive, they should be spa quality, no exceptions. Instead, they were stiff, scratchy, and altogether uncomfortable. One could literally buy nicer towels and robes at Walmart, on the cheap. I cannot for the life of me understand why this is a corner the hotel would choose to cut.
Third, the mattresses were stiff, uncomfortable and low quality. When paying over $500 per night at a hotel, one of the very first things a guest expects is a high quality, luxury mattress that allows for a comfortable, rejuvenating night sleep. An uncomfortable mattress is the surest way to alienate many guests, myself included. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the mattresses at a Holiday Inn Express are much more comfortable. The mattresses in our room at Las Colinas were more comparable to those at a Ramada. Ruminate on that for a while.
Lastly, the furnishings in our room simply were not commensurate with the price we paid. They felt dated, cookie-cutter, cheap, and a very, very far cry from luxury.

The pool
Need to be updated badly. Tiny showers and old technology. Room service menu was limited. For the price of the rooms we expected a lot more.

Room and patio looked directly into a crowded putting green. Rooms in double room were DOUBLE sized beds, not queen sized beds as is expected and typical. Hotel was apparently unable to accommodate moving us to another room. We changed hotels since we were left no other option.

Location, swimming pool,spa
I booked a room to congratulate my wife on her birthday. The view from the room I chose was a valley, but the view from my room was the roof of a building. When we arrived, there was no waiter at the entrance of the hotel. During the epidemic, I received a notice requesting to wear a mask, but there were basically no masks in the hotel, and the chairs made by the guests were not disinfected by waiters. I did not see anyone doing sanitation all day in public. Mosquitoes everywhere.

Spa, rooms were comfortable.
The extra perks such as hot tea & lemon/cucumber water was not available in the spa, extra blankets in the room, mini bar was not stocked, and food menu is limited and quality overpriced.

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff is great and food is good. I think Covid was the only issue. Its not just this hotel but most have the restrictions. I just don't like the restrictions. Not there fault.

Large room. Women’s spa staff. Law Restaurant quality of food and our server for dinner were excellent.
The in room dining food quality was awful and the pool side service was lacking in spite of Tomas’ best efforts. The hot tub was filled with debris every day. The front desk experience was substandard. Come on Four Seasons properties. You can do MUCH better than this.
