great room - very clean
everything was great

The room was very neat and clean. Location was excellent and we were allowed a late check in.
We contracted for a second floor unit and were given a first floor unit. As we said, the room was neat and clean. Soundproofing is non existent. The noise from upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants, moving back and forth. We understand people would be in and out but the internal acoustics need attention. Also, options for cable on the menu were limitless but in reality only basic cable was available. Mattress was worn out and needs changing.

Can not beat the location. Across the street from Marginal Way, short walk to beach, the center of town and Perkins Cove and many restaurants. The loft unit with balcony gave glimpses of ocean view..
My only critique is no outdoor pool. Only indoor which is very dark.

Good location for shops and restaurants but still a 15 min walk to beach loaded down with chairs and umbrellas.
Carpets were old and worn down. AC units were old and noisy.

Great location, nice pool and hot tub
Rooms outdated and dirty. Carpets stained, there was a booger on my bathroom wall.

Beautiful carpeting, window views, roof deck and location (by foot) to EVERYTHING!
Suggestion (not that we didn't like):
Full length mirror (bedroom)
Screen door going out to the deck

Check in was excellent, great customer service, the location was perfect for us. We hope to return again in the future. The room was very nice, especially how clean everything was.

The studio queen is dated but spacious. A large sitting area with a sleep sofa and kitchenette is separated from the queen bed. A walk-in closet was a big surprise. The bathroom is dated but workable and when we mentioned to the office staff that the shower was not working well he took us seriously and addressed it. Toiletries were included with the room. The room would easily accommodate a couple traveling with one or two children as a partial wall would separate the parents from the children on sleep sofa. Important - this arrangement is only for this year. They anticipate renovations this winter which will remove the wall and the kitchenette so it is similar to a typical large hotel room.
The bathroom, although dated, was fine.

The view, proximity to the ocean, pool and hot tub, the sheets
A lot of stairs, no sheets for the pullout couch

Great location for seeing the sites in Ogunquit. The indoor pool & jacuzzi are really nice added amenities

this property is directly across from the entrance to Marginal Way. if you get a 2nd floor balcony room you’ll have a small view of the ocean. the second floor rooms also have a loft with two beds upstairs and a full kitchen!
The inside was a bit dated and the coffee was bad. if you’re checking in off season you’ll have to drive to their sister hotel The Norseman to check in/out.

The bed
The chairs were very uncomfortable.. There was suppose to be a sofa and there wasn't. We booked on booking.com and the prices were not the same. We had a lot of trouble finding our room.

Staff and repairman were very kind.
We couldn't figure out how to turn on the lamps. Even though we tried to switch the plugs in the outlets. Our shower did not work, which is very disappointing. Staff and repairman were very kind. We were told the manager would call us the next day but we never received a call

indoor pool and hot tub
The location on their website looks like it is on the beach, but actually that is their sister property! I booked it because my husband has a hard time walking so i wanted to be on the beach!
I feel deceived somewhat because of photos on websites!
it was also our 49th Anniversary so wanted it to be special on beach We had to drive to beach

The location was perfect. The staff was WONDERFUL. The overall experience was VERY good, with accommodations and Ogunquit overall.
The exterior of the property is impressive, really looks great (it was clear renovations/repairs to the clapboards and painting were in progress). the landscaping is beautiful. Halloween decorations were FABULOUS. The interior was outdated, and worn, and aesthetically unappealing. These are small details, but it it’s what people notice. The coffee maker was filthy, coffee residue in the filter cup, and the pot had residue from previous brews, and had not been washed in a while. There was dish detergent supplied, but no brush or sponge to wash dishes with. The carpet was worn, and was not well vacuumed, the bathroom floor was (permanently) stained, the hairdryer on the wall had a layer of dust on top of it, and the caulking at the foot of the tub was black but it was clear that it had been white originally. Also there was a note on the cupboard door that we couldn’t figure out if it meant that a fee would be charged for kitchen articles left behind, or unwashed dishes (it is sad to think people would do either). We were told to leave used towels outside of our door, and they would be replaced. This didn’t happen, probably because it is off season and housekeeping is not fully staffed, so we went to the front desk to get our towels (not a big deal).
To be clear, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Dated decor or old caulking is not a big deal, but cleanliness is.
The toiletries were lovely. Beach scented lotion and shampoo - VERY nice.
