For a tiny bunk, the bed and bedding were very comfortable & I slept well! The bathroom was larger than expected in such a tiny room and showering was a pleasure. The sports bar used for breakfast was roomy & the free coffee tasted good.
Room was too tight to unwind in for 2 people. We each had to go up separately to shower. There was nowhere to put your things or sit besides your bed. This set-up better for 1.

We stayed at Pod 39 for 10 days and had a great experience! Our room had a view of the Empire State Building, which made waking up in New York even more special!!
The room was small but very comfortable, quiet, and well designed. The beds were great, the bathroom was spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The location was excellent! Very central, in a safe area, and a great base for exploring NYC.
We also really appreciated the 1 PM check-out time and the option to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out, which was incredibly convenient. The rooftop was another highlight, offering beautiful views of the city at night and the perfect spot to enjoy a drink after dinner.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Pod 39 to anyone visiting New York. We would happily stay here again!
The rooftop closing at 11 PM felt a little early, especially when visiting a city like New York. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the hotel!

The location is the best part about this hotel
I didn't like that there was thick dust around the room door frame and lots of dust on the bed base, under the mattress.
