The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was staying at the hotel before the Chicago marathon and they made sure runners were taken care of - grab&go runners' breakfast and replenishment after the marathon were a super nice touch.
The room was also very spacious and comfortable.
The room was right across the fire department and we heard sirens a few times during the night.

The staff is exceptional, even getting me into my room earlier than the usual check in time and assisting with transportation to places I wanted to see.. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The traffic noise (I was on the 3rd floor at the corner of the building)

The valet and reception staff were very helpful and kind. They made the process easy. We were able to immediately check in. Our room was spacious, clean and updated. The location put us within a 10-20 minute walk from everything we wanted to do. They had the best breakfast buffet for any hotel I’ve been to and I loved the aesthetics of Ema.

Good location for all we wanted to do.
Elevator 1 of only 2 broke down in the morning - huge wait line for only working one resulted - my 77 year old husband climbed 9 flights to get more coffee to me before it got cold. Ridiculous to only have two elevators. Check in was terrible - no help from desk staff - waited an hour for room to be ready- finally said “give us ANY room”.
