We, family with three kids (16,14,11) had an fantastic holiday. We did some amazing hiking tours, we enjoyed the beach / sea. And ofcourse the cinceterre towns. The appartment was nice, especially the teras with the amazing view. We wil recommend the appartment.

This place is perfectly located right in front of the beach. Yes it has quite a bit of stairs but they are so worth it! Is in the center of everything, only steps away from the train station, really comfortable for a family. Our host was really friendly and very helpful. Will definitely return.

We had the most amazing holiday! The apartment is in a perfect (well apart from the 170 steps, but think of it as a work out) location with absolutely stunning views - you could spend all day on the balcony, which is massive. Monterosso al Mare is beautiful with an old town and new, so plenty to see and do and of course the beach just below. The station is a 5 minute walk so access to the other 4 towns is easy. We also did a day trip to Bonassola (10 minutes the other way on the train) for an extremely quiet day on the beach away from the hustle and bustle of Cinque Terre, with a fabulous (extremely cheap) lunch of local produce. Obviously the walks over the mountains can be difficult in the heat and there are easier options if you want to pay for a pass, but it was so worth it for the views. We will definitely be returning both to Cinque and this apartment, Iris was so helpful and informative and the apartment is quaint and larger than it looks in the picture, we absolutely loved it!

Perfect situation to visit the 5 villages with a marvellous view on the sea. Very good memories.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wunderbare Ferien in Monterosso verbracht. Die Vermieterin ist überaus freundlich und sympathisch, die Wohnung atmosphärische sehr angenehm. Auf der riesigen Dachterrasse hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick. Herzlichen Dank für die schönen Tage!!

Die Wohnung besitzt eine sehr große Terasse mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Meer, den Strand und die anderen Ortschaften der Cinque terre. Die Lage ist absolut zentral. Wir hatten dort sehr schöne Urlaubstage! Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und zuverlässig! Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben.

Sono venuta a Monterosso quest' anno perché ci sono meno turisti che normalmente. Il tempo non era sempre "bello" ma anche con nuvole e tempo misto e meraviglioso questa vista al mare. Anche dal soggiorno e della camera del letto si vede molto bello il mare (quando piove).

Our stay at Daniela‘s apartment in Monterosso al mare was just a 100% positive experience. The view from the terrace is amazing, even during rainy days. The apartment is very cute, very clean, and everything you need is available. The check in was perfectly organised and we‘ve felt very taken care of during our stay. I can fully recommend and we hope we will be able to come back not only once.

The house is well kept and larger than it appears in photos. Daniela was a fabulous hostess. When we were initially dropped off in the wrong parking lot by our driver, she got a taxi to us in five minutes flat, which then brought us right to the gate. When I was unable to figure out how to work the blinds and stove, she came over right away to help. I really appreciated her prompt responsiveness. I recommend you book this place now, get your stair quota in for the year (there are 170 stairs from the road to the front door) and get access to the most amazing trekking, snorkeling and swimming!!! You are across the street from the best beach of all the five cities. Water is crystal clear, (when no storms) with superb visibility and plentiful aquatic life. Reserve a table at Miky’s for dinner- it’s less than a block away. Order the seafood risotto and mixed cakes for desert. Then climb home and drift off to gentle ocean breezes and the lulling sound of waves. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to return!

This place was just wonderful for our family of 4. Very near the trains station and central in Monterosso. Francesca met us and took us to the flat. Yes there are some stairs so beware if you have problems negotiating stairs. The flat was charming and contained everything we needed. Comfortable master bedroom that opened out onto the patio. This small apartment on the 5th floor has so much character and the most amazing view. The location is perfect to experience the best of Cinque Terre. Plus, you won’t feel any guilt enjoying the food because you will walk 170 steps up to the apartment. We had a great time!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Monterosso. Das Appartment war sauber und sehr gemütlich, wir fühlten uns sofort zuhause. Die Terrasse ist gigantisch, mehr Erholung und Ruhe geht nicht! Und die vielen Stufen hinauf zur Wohnung haben uns nichts ausgemacht. Wir haben immer den Ausblick genossen und den Aufstieg als kleines Training gesehen...

Accueil très sympathique, un repas offert dans une pizzeria voisine (Très bon accueil là aussi nous y sommes revenus plusieurs fois pendant le séjour) . Point de départ idéal pour les randonnées du parc. Appartement situé à Fegina, quartier plage de Monterrosso, moins typique donc mais tout aussi charmant et la plage et la baignade sont belles , appréciable sur cette côte découpée. A proximité de la gare, pratique pour obtenir des informations (point info dans les gares) se déplacer dans le parc mais également pour une visite de Gênes (1.10 de train de mémoire). Appartement bien équipé, sanitaire un peu petit si on arrive à 6 (1 chambre adulte et une chambre enfants avec deux lits superposés. Et bien sur un petit mot sur les 173 marches pour accéder à l'appartement, donc ne pas oublier le pain, surtout après une journée de randonnées! et attention aux bagages trop lourds ou encombrants pour l'installation.Le "prix à payer" pour jouir de la terrasse et de la vue merveilleuse qu'elle offre et d'une certaine tranquillité par rapport à l'animation du bord de plage et aux voisins (peu de vis à vis une fois si haut!). The appartment's owner, Daniela, was very friendly and responded quickly to email queries such as where to park. There are a lot of steps, but then the view from the large terrace is wonderful. Proximity to the beach, sea-front cafes and the train station - with trains along the Cinque Terre, and also to Pisa, La Spezia and Genoa - are other big pluses.

The main feature of it was the terrace with incredible views.The hosts were lovely and very helpful.You need to climb quite a lot of stairs to get to the apartment so perhaps not suitable for those with knee problems. The sea was on the doorstep, the station very close and quite a few restaurants incredibly close to the apartment.We all loved it.

Loved our stay in the appartment. Eventhoug it was a challenging climb up the 178 steps - it was worth the hard work.... The appartmentment had seen nettet days, but we didn't miss anything. Stunning view! Close to everything.... and a welcoming host.

Mycket trevlig lägenhet, det har varit värdinnans mammas lägenhet. Läget kan inte vara bättre, direkt på strandpromenaden. Värdinnan är mycket tillmötesgående och det är lätt att kommunicera med henne. Väl fungerande kök och ett funktionellt badrum. Det som är ett minus är att det är en lång och tung trappa upp till lägenheten, 170 trappsteg! Det är dock helt ok om man har normal kondition.

De la (grande) terrasse de l'appartement, vue tout à fait spectaculaire sur les villages des Cinque Terre ! Mais qui se mérite (170 marches, on les a comptées :-) L'appartement se situe dans le quartier récent de Monterosso, il est très agréable à vivre, très propre, peu bruyant, situé juste au-dessus de la grande plage de sable et à 50 m de la gare. Très pratique pour rayonner dans les autres villages, se baigner en revenant, une dernière petite grimpette et hop, on se douche. L'équipement de la cuisine est un peu rudimentaire, mais rien de dramatique non plus. Daniela, la propriétaire, est très sympathique et arrangeante. 2 parkings tout proches (12 et 15€/jour). On recommande !

We've stayed here for 2 weeks. What you should know, the apartment is on the 5. floor but to get to the first floor, you have to take stairs equally to 5 floors first :) so in total like walking up the stairs to the 10. floor. Very healthy though :) you have the best view in Monterosso from this height. Daniela was very friendly. She even helped us to carry our luggage. It has a big terrace. We spent most of the time there. the Master bedroom has a direct access to terrace. We slept with the door open to terrace. It was not to hot in May, we really had the best sleep after months there with the sound of the sea :) Daniela's niece has a restaurant nearby, I must say, the best pizza and fries in town. We're surely come again there!
