It’s uniqueness….finding that balance between the practical and the aesthetic is something that takes much consideration….found the experience nostalgic, personal, gratifying as well as necessary.
Thank you all at PodShare 🧘🏼♂️🙏
Nothing concerning the property….just concern for a rather distressed guest in the bunk beneath….I think she is in need of deep care and attention. 😌

I had stayed at the Venice location last year and the difference is that the Hollywood location is a lot smaller, but I like that. Very comfortable bed and pillows! The staff was amazing, knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Place was dirty, the man working didn’t change the sheets and was constantly watching tv and hovering over everybody’s shoulder. Creepy vibes. I asked to transfer to the Melrose location which had bedbugs, and despite that they still wouldn’t give me a refund. Truly unbelievably bad, cannot recommend this place at all. Only good thing about it is that it’s close to the tourist attractions.
Bedbugs!

Staff, relaxed vibe, amenities.. I wasn't expecting much for the price and given to the other reviews, but i was VERY pleasantly surprised. Young girl at the "frontdesk" was very nice and helpful. During conversation about laundry, she mentioned that she only works until 2pm, so it's understandable that she might not be so willing after work, but she was, and if someone encountered reluctance in such a case and then started writing negative reviews, maybe they should probably pay for a proper hotel next time.. For me the best hostel i have ever stayed in so far!

It’s very well decorated, but the dirty and disorganization makes it look really bad
it was extremely dirty and disorganized. The place is a big room where the beds stay with the kitchen, “reception” and everything else. The person who received us didn’t seem to be willing to give more info about anything we asked and when she was done with the check in she didn’t say we were all set, I had to ask because she started doing other things on the computer while we were waiting. Getting to the top beds are extremely hard with the type of “ladder”.
As it’s only a not big enough room where there’s no space to socialize, after 10pm everybody is supposed to be quiet and they turn off all the lights.
Me and my friend decided not to sleep at the place not even take a shower.

Super cozy and clean beds, friendly and helpful staff and overall a really good vibe
Snoring - but that's inevitable in any shared room!

Location. Super central to everything.
Being told that giving my email address is required to stay there. So, I guess people who don't use technology are not welcome here? Some people just do not want marketing emails. Apparently, they are also not welcome here? Seems like a terrible policy for a business to have.

Breakfast?? The pod was comfy & private. I liked that. Got a lot done with your wifi.
I’m a Senior woman relocating from Hollywood, it was FULL of men. Thought I was in a Frat house. Unless I asked a question, Maddie, the admin, never spoke to me, even when I greeted her. I remember being a young lady and chatting with young men. It was an important “service”. I was definitely a tenant, not a guest.

Location was very central, right by the farmers market. The inside itself was quite nice; cool beds and bathroom; it could be really nice if they were a bit more practical/better at customer service.
Overall a weird experience - our uber dropped us off, but we couldn't find it. There's no sign. We called and they didn't pick up, but eventually we were let inside, but couldn't check in. The girl at reception was playing a computer game and didn't want to talk to us until later. She seemed unhappy to answer any questions, but maybe that's just a California thing? She was friendlier once her computer game finished.
There was only one bathroom, which had the shower and toilet inside, so a bit of a wait in the morning.

Off the Hollywood Boulevard, but area felt quite unsafe at night as it’s slightly away from the busier bit (Chinese theatre, Dolby theatre)
Location is unsafe, only one bathroom for whole hostel (about 9 beds). Two of the beds are more like pods (much smaller in size with only enough room to sleep, but at same cost which seems unfair.

There was no breakfast it was a small floor pad in a small floor pod. Didn't have nearly enough room.
Needed a bigger bed or a bigger bed accomodation provided due to epilepsy caused by a heart condition. Instead what I got was a tight cramped small cubicle that was beyond uncomfortable and hard to sleep in.

this was my most liked podshare as far as location, staff and interior.
I had to sleep in something resembling a dog kennel. no air flowing inside a very narrow space. this pod was nothing like advertised. claustrophobic pod with no ventilation.. I felt deceived. the other pods were spacious with head room and freedom to stretch and move around. I couldn’t even sit up freely in this kennel space.
