So beautifully located and a great atmosphere

A beautiful and very quietly situated accommodation. The rooms are clean and neatly furnished. The accompanying trattoria has good and authentic dishes on the menu. The surrounding area is ideal for relaxing or going on great hikes in the nearby national park. Note that sat navs like to guide you along a gravel road about 8km long. It is better to drive to Permilcoure and take the road to the accommodation. We enjoyed our time there very much.

A three-day trip for a small trek

Beautifully situated house a little bit in the middle of nowhere. The place is pretty big :), very quiet and peaceful. There is a tratoria nearby run by same owners, where you can eat delicous local meals. There are few trekking routes that you can take almost right after crossing the door

Joined small mattresses in king size bed

Peace, quiet, and local food

The highlight of the place was being next door to the restaurant Trattoria del Cervo (same owners). The food is delicious, local, and fairly priced. Good first courses even for vegetarians. For some dishes availability depends on the vegetable garden or local suppliers, which is perfectly natural and aligns with the concept of eating local and in season. Then the staff: Mara is a young, polite, and capable host. She made us feel at home and gave us plenty of tips for hikes in the area. And she works so hard! We interacted mostly with her and another young woman during our stay, mainly at the restaurant. They were both super nice! Then the location: it's a bit out of the way, but if that's what you want it's perfect. You can sleep at night without noises, it's in the countryside with no trafficked streets nearby. And there's a few hikes along the mountain ridge starting right from the place, and even more if you are willing to drive to Premilcuore or Fiumicello. We were there mainly for autumn walks.

The rooms are 150m or so from the restaurant, but when it's dark some parts are pitch black. There are LED lights activated by sensors along the path, but not the whole way and turning off too fast. Bring the phone to use as a torch. Breakfast was not so extensive as in the photos, but to be fair we were the only guests and it would have been wasteful.

Struttura immersa nelle colline/appennini emiliani.
