Stay away from this property

Nothing

I genuinely would not recommend staying at Malibau House in Tarifa. The apartments feel like they were designed purely to maximize profit, not to make guests comfortable or welcome. The host was extremely unaccommodating and completely uninterested in resolving issues. The apartment itself was in very poor condition. There was visible mould and constant humidity inside, even with the doors open almost all day. It always felt damp and cold at night, and the blanket provided was incredibly thin. The beds are very low quality and uncomfortable, and the mattress had plastic around it, meaning if you sweat even a little, the mattress couldn’t breathe and you end up feeling damp and cold sleeping in trapped moisture. Sleeping was difficult for several reasons. There was a green light in the room that could not be switched off, meaning the room was never actually dark and we had to physically cover it ourselves. On top of that, the curtains only covered part of the window. It seems obvious that proper curtains should have been installed to cover the full window, but instead light comes through because they are too small. Cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. On arrival, there were black hairs stuck to the shower wall, and the floor was clearly dirty. I only realized how bad it was after dropping something and wiping the floor with a brand-new cleaning towel, which immediately turned filthy. The place is also badly equipped. Half the cutlery was missing, there’s no freezer, and several things clearly need replacing but haven’t been maintained for a long time. Everything looks old, worn out and already partly broken. The Wi-Fi is unbelievably slow — Spotify could not even download music properly. There’s a smart TV with Netflix advertised, but Netflix did not work at all. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches in the apartment. The most concerning part for us was the overall environment in the apartment. Because of the mould, humidity, poor airflow or

Apartament świetnie położony i dobrze wyposażony. Czysty i wygodny, pachnąca pościel i ręczniki. Bardzo przyjemnie spędzało się tam czas. Zarządzający Apartamentem bardzo pomocny i wyrozumiały. Miejsce parkingowe było bardzo łatwe do znalezienia i bezpłatne. Odległość do plaży- 50m, blisko do atrakcji w Centrum Miasta. Dziękujemy za świetny pobyt. Z pewnością wrócimy tam przy kolejnej wizycie.

Si tuviera que poner alguna pega. Sería la falta de un microondas. Pero esto ya es un gusto mio. Nada que no se solucione con la vitrocerámica.

Weird bad smell, barely any toilet paper (owners refused to add more), found massive cockroach in room first night.
