Our host was so responsive and kind. The property is extremely clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We felt very safe there and when there was a question Vjelko got back to me right away. I would highly recommend this property—and staying in Split!

The unit was super clean and everything was brand new. We loved how it had a dishwasher bc our last place didn’t so that was nice! Super close to main attraction in Split so it all worked out for us.

This is an excellent holiday apartment, suitable for families or couples. Centrally located and within walking distance of shops, transport, museums, Diocletian's Palace and other attractions in Split. The apartment is clean, bright, secure, airy and spacious, with a sunny balcony and impressive views. We arrived in Split by ferry and Vjeko was there to meet us with a very warm welcome, driving us to the apartment and helping us to get settled in. Vjeko also arranged transport to the airport on our departure. We couldn’t have asked for more friendly, helpful host. We highly recommend this apartment.

The owner picked us up at the bus station, brought us cookies and a bottle of wine from his brother’s vineyard. The apartment is located right outside of the Split old city walls. It is spacious, nicely furnished and spotless. it has everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent accommodation in a perfect location for visiting Split. Our host was very helpful, picking us up from the airport and taking us to the ferry at the end of our stay. Apartment was exactly as described, clean and well equipped. The balcony space was well used as the temperature was very hot during our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a holiday in this area and would certainly return again.

On our first visit to Croatia, Vjeko collected us from the airport and took us to apartment. Apartment was bright, very clean and had everything we required including wine made by his brother. Very central location - historic city centre, waterfront, ferry port, supermarkets all within easy walking distance. Vjeko even came to pick us up on our last day and took us to our hire car company for our onward journey. Would recommend this accommodation and hope to return.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience in Split. The owner, Vejko picked us up at the ferry dock when we arrived and drove us back when we left. The apartment is first class. It is clean, modern, and has all the amenities that you could ask for. The location was ideal. It was about 200 yards from the Palace which is where all the activities are centered. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Split and would definitely stay there on my next visit to Split

Lots of good points here. The host was most helpful to us, met us off the train and took us to the ferry. Top marks here. Well appointed apartment just as advertised. Easy walking distance of everything you would want to see. It would have been nice to have some booklet on the washing machine but that's quite a common problem we always find.

This is a well located spacious apt. It was super clean with a great layout. It is minutes to the castle and the waterfront. A very safe area and Vjeko was a great host. As we are seniors he picked us up and took us back to the airport and handled our baggage up the stairs. Close to shopping, arts and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely, large, airy, nicely equipped apartment. Everything you need to cook if you decide to stay in. A 5 minute walk to the markets and the old town. Our host was great.

From owner Vjekoslav’s meet & car transport (€20 each way) to his welcome into the apartment everything was very well done. The apartment is really well located for an easy walk into the old town & the harbour for ferries to the islands. Be ready for a certain amount of chaos in the harbour as vehicles & people are not well separated & the routes & operators take a bit of getting used to. A great apartment well described, you won’t be disappointed.

Our first impression of the building was one of uncertainty because the building is older (by North American standards). However , once inside we were very pleasantly surprised. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped. It has all the amenities you could ask for. The air conditioning was a blessing. The location is really good; near the palace but enough distance that it isn't noisy. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Split.

We came back to England yesterday after an amazing time in Split. The apartment was very comfortable for 2 adults & 2 children. It had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The washing machine was a great bonus as I haven't done much washing as I did it all at the apartment plus its raining in England. At night once I closed the windows you couldn't hear the band playing in the square which was good for an early night. There is not any sandy beaches in Split (not that we found any) but the sea was clear & refreshing once you got into the sea. We would go back & stay at the apartment defo

Wow, what a perfect apartment for our visit to Split. Upon arrival, we were met by Vjeko and he was a wonderful host and helped us to get situated. He helped us throughout the week whenever we needed anything! The apartment is perfect, very clean, well decorated, everything worked perfectly. It is located in the heart of Old Split and we were able to walk to the palace, market, beach, harbor, restaurants, shopping, etc. We loved it as it was the perfect place for us. We will absolutely be back!

Apartment Vuko is in the perfect location. It is close to everything. There is a parking lot close by if you rent a car and everything else is walking distance. The apartment is CLEAN. No issues with walking around barefoot. I wish I had a cleaning lady that did such a good job. All the supplies we needed were there. There are plenty of towels and bedding. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked. Vjeko is awesome. He provided transportation to/from the airport, he showed us points of interest and good restaurants on the map, he was available for questions via Whatsapp, he gave us wine and goodies. I usually stay in HomeAway places when I vacation and Vjeko just went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again.

The first star is for the location -- the apartment is a short, colorful walk through the outdoor clothing and food markets to the center of Split. The second star is for the apartment layout and how it's appointed. It's exactly as featured in the pictures: spacious, clean and very functional with everything you will need if you decide to stay in to cook or go out to explore the City using the maps and guide books provided. The third, fourth and fifth stars are presented to Vjeko, the perfect host. We can't thank him enough for his attention to detail and exceptional customer service. The refrigerator was stocked with water, wine and a box of sweets to welcome us to the space -- and he also went above and beyond our expectation by providing pick up/drop off service at the ferry/airport; helped with luggage up the three flights to steps to the apartment and provided a personal tour to let us know how everything worked. Would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Split!

This updated apartment is in a fantastic location, close to the supermarket, open markets and Palace surrounds. It is also walking distance to the port and ferries. The apartment has full amenities including a good washer. Vjekoslav was an awesome host. He helped with our luggage and got us acquainted with the apartment and surrounds. You may be challenged if your have mobility issues as you must carry your luggage up a couple of floors to access the apartment. Parking is also a challenge in this neighbourhood. Thankfully, Vjekoslav secured a street park for us. Overall, a great stay and great value for the money.

We visited in Oct 17 and stayed for 7 nights. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, quiet and extremely well equipped; the photos give an accurate feeling for what it is like. There are a couple of supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, bars and a restaurant nearby and the green market is not much further. You're just a few minutes away from the centre of the old town by foot and the harbour (for ferries to the islands) and bus stations (to Trogir or Klis, for example) are pretty close as well. All together, an ideal base to explore the town and the surrounding area. Vjeko met us from our flight and took us back to the airport when we left and was friendly and helpful. Our only suggestions for improvements would be duvets for the beds and some sort of sunshade for the balcony.
