This large studio, 29 m2 on the ground, duplex with a large mezzanine, a real bathroom, a large kitchen area, a beautiful office area and its large convertible sofa will make you feel in a comfortable and cozy apartment. It is ideally located in the heart of the historic Marais district. Completely renovated in September 2011, it has been carefully decorated and has all the modern conveniences, dishwasher, washer-dryer, television with foreign channels, and WIFI internet connection. This studio offers you two very good quality beds: On the pretty mezzanine a thick two-seater mattress and below, a contemporary, luxurious sofa, convertible into a double bed. This non-smoking studio is on the 2nd floor of an old building, typical of the Marais with a very high ceiling. Without vis-à-vis, it adjoins the very famous department store Bazaar of the Town Hall and you will find the town hall square below. It offers rare clarity, in the center of Paris. A few minutes on foot, you can discover: Place des Voges, Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, the Louvre Museum, the Sainte-Chapelle, Île Saint Louis, the Quays of the Seine and its booksellers. By metro, bus or RER, you can get to: the Musée d'Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, the Château de Versailles, Eurodisney (RER B). ""

We had a great time in Paris and enjoyed our little home. As was stated by others, the unit was very clean and well designed. The loft space has very low ceilings, as was shared by others. Bathroom and Kitchen were great.

This is an excellent, perfectly located, Parisian apartment. It is steps from a metro station and a short walk to many attractions. The apartment is as described in the listing. It is located in a busy district so, as expected, you will hear city noises. Paul was an excellent host. I would absolutely stay here again.

A very clean apartment which is as central as you get in Paris. Paul was very flexible with our check-in needs. We were surprised by how low the ceiling was in the mezzanine bedroom and while this didn't present any difficulties for us it could be a problem if you were elderly or had mobility issues. Our only other gripe was that the couch/bed wasn't very comfortable. It was very well stocked with cooking equipment making it easy to cook at home if you want. Helpful guidebooks, generous towel supply, washing machine and a modern, spacious bathroom all helped to make our stay very pleasant. Despite it's central location it was very quiet if we closed the windows. Overall a very good experience.

With a fantastic location, this wonderful apartment showed off as a great holiday stop, with a minute to a metro, minutes to Notre Dame and the wonders of the 4th arrondissement. The Apartment had all the goods to have a good stay, with full kitchen and even a bath to soak in. Two beds if the spiral staircase is a issue. Loved the stay.

The location is exceptional, and the unit was very clean. A very busy and safe area with several nights of entertainment by street musicians and dancers. Lively. Excellent. The area is small but for two people is just fine.

The problem was with the bedroom on the mezzanine...we cannot walk in the room the ceilling was too low. In the appartment The portable air conditioning in the window which should remain open it was, the appartment is very small.

My 2 daughters and I stayed here for 6 nights, checked out today. Paul was accommodating and allowed us to drop off our luggage after 12p and return at 4p after the apt was ready. Perfect size for 3 of us. Beds very comfortable and we had everything we needed including a washer and hanging rack. The location cannot be beat and walkable to Louvre/Tulleries, Latin Quarter, the 2 islands, St. Germaine, and the metro is literally 10 steps from the front door. I highly recommend staying here if you can. Book early (I booked it 11 months in advance) because it fills up fast! Paul also reserved a taxi for us to the Orly airport.

We wanted to experience Paris as a resident rather than a tourist, this location and apartment was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the nightly entertainers just outside our window and being able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was charmingly rustic while at the. same time providing modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. And very quiet. Would definitely come back! Merci Paul!

The location was within walking distance of the Louver, Orsay, gardens, Eataly, and good food and wine. My wife loved the thrift stores in the neighborhood. Our host was very friendly and accommodating..

This little apartment was perfect for a mother-daughter trip to Paris. Paul made everything very easy for us. It's in a perfect location close to wonderful restaurants and the metro station. We loved every minute.

My sister and I loved staying in Paul's studio in the Marais. The location was ideal, with a metro stop in front of the front door. The apartment is charming and cleverly and thoughtfully designed with everything you need as a visitor provided, down to the laundry soap, should you need it. Paul was helpful and answered all our questions--there is a reason why his properties are fully booked a year in advance!

I couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay. If you don’t mind typically European appliances and a snug space, this is absolute perfection. The metro is literally at the front door, the location is very quiet at night, and everything is accessible from the apartment.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, is well equipped, and Mr. Saidji was easy to reach and very responsive. It was slightly smaller than we expected and the mezzanine might be hard to access for people with limited mobility. However, the location and amenities, more than made up for the size of the apartment. We would definitely recommend it to friends. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay here. Beds were comfy, apartment was well appointed and had character. The location is ideal and communication with Paul and checkin could not have been easier. I would stay here again anytime.

Absolutely perfect location, safe, plenty of bistros and shops around. Central to metro, buses etc. Studio was great for 2 people however only downside was you couldn’t stand up on the mezzanine floor which was not ideal and it didn’t state this in the description of property. Manager was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, close to Metro, very clean, nice amenities. Comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children(teens). The only thing, I didn't realize was the upstairs sleeping area you can not stand up. Its strictly for sleeping up there. Maybe I missed that in the reviews.

We loved the location, this small but very well laid out apartment was clean and nicely decorated. The spiral staircase is sturdy, but a little awkward carrying the luggage up. We packed for home on the main level. If your very tall, I would hesitate to recommend the upper bed for sleeping. Paul and his grandmother were very helpful.

Small but efficient t apartment. Centrally located in Marais with Metro station right outside. Comfortable beds(we issued pull out sofa & loft). Best suited for a couple .We we're able to check in several hours early which was so helpful .Thank you Paul!
