Arco apartment, good location, low value

Great location in the heart of Arco.

So much. Realizing we made the mistake of booking a place with no a/c in the middle of July- but limited places with A/C in Arco. We couldn’t get the place to cool down at all. Requested fans but that didn’t do much. Very uncomfortable beds with only 1 lumpy flat pillow per bed. Small, scratch towels. Staff was beyond rude when we wanted to check in. We had been sending them messages letting them know there was a glitch in their system when we would enter all our passport info and then they wanted you to do a selfie- when this glitch occurred all data was then lost and we tried to repeat multiple times without success, using every phone in our family- 5 phones. So we called the office where they told us we wouldn’t be able to stay there because we didn’t do their check in process. It was crazy, finally telling them we were in the town, we had paid in full and we would like to get some rest. We drove .5 miles for them to look at and enter our passport information so then we could get the keys and location. Hoping part of this was a language barrier, but I think rude is rude. When arriving at the apartment, not 1 of the beds was made and the pull out sofa was broken so they sent housekeeping back over to make the beds. Also- crazy. The staff reminded me that this wasn’t America- which was also rude, and yes, it wasn’t America, because we would never have this hospitality or lack of quality in a place that was rented for over 1k. We did get a slight refund of the extra person/sofa bed since we had 5 people. Family of 5 traveling from the US- one big mistake I made was not looking for a US review, as our standards are higher. Cannot recommend unless you like fever dreams and temps around 98 degrees at night. You can leave the windows open, but no screens so have fun itching those mosquito bites.
