A large comfortable room in a modern hotel. Not too far from the main train station, Marseille Saint Charles, albeit up/down a steep hill. Room was well airconditioned.
The hotel location was not as great a location as I thought when booking. Although not far from the main train station, it is up/down a steep hill and then to go to the main tourist areas more steep hills with no close by public transport. The area felt a little uncomfortable if you strayed too far off the main road.

Within walking distance to the train station, though the neighborhood isn't great. Good water pressure in the shower.
Loud, dirty rooms without air conditioning as many others have noted. Staged pictures online look nothing like the drab, run down room that they put us in. The carpet in our room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. The previous guest had tried to make coffee in the water kettle and it hadn't been cleaned out. Felt like the room was much more expensive than it should have been, especially for what we got.
