About this villa rental

The ideal location to explore the Castelli Romani area: Frascati, the largest town, brimming with shops, trendy spots, and quaint restaurants, as well as rich history. Castelgandolfo, with its lake, the Pope’s summer residence, breathtaking views, and nature to explore; Marino, with its excellent Catelli wine; Ariccia, with its delicious and famous porchetta served in the various fraschette amid a medieval atmosphere; the picturesque town of Genzano and its famous “infiorata,” the splendid Rocca di Papa—which is definitely worth a visit—as well as the charming village of Nemi with its small but beautiful lake, and many other places you’ll discover as you wander around the area.
Not to mention Rome, which is just 40 km away and easily accessible by bus (for the first 15 km) to the Anagnina metro station and from there to the center of Rome.
The home I’m offering is in a very quiet area; in fact, it’s located in the Castelli Romani Park, a low-density residential area, highly recommended during the summer months when the heat in the cities becomes unbearable and keeps you awake at night; In fact, Rocca Priora is the highest town in the Castelli Romani, at 750 meters above sea level.
It serves as a starting point (about 50 meters away) for wonderful excursions to “Tusculum,” whether on foot or by mountain bike. Down in the valley, you’ll find the famous “Pratoni del Vivaro,” where you can enjoy outdoor activities and horseback riding in the area’s large riding stables and meadows.
The property also features a wood-fired oven and an outdoor barbecue for grilling, roasting, or making pizzas.
The large garden, equipped with chairs, a table, and various pieces of furniture, is for the exclusive use of guests and is fully lit at night.
With that said, all that remains is to wish my future guests a happy and relaxing stay, with the assurance that my personal assistance is always available for any issues or unforeseen circumstances that may arise during their stay.

Although I booked this property on behalf of my friends illness stopped me from travelling to Italy. I have, however spoken to my friends who gave me the following feedback: The house was in a delightful setting with fantastic views, close to many ancient villages and within reach of Rome. The house was comfortable and clean with a friendly greeting from Guilia who was full of local knowledge. If you want to escape into tranquility this is the house for you. I personally thank Filippo, the host who has kept in contact with me during my illness.

Everything went fine with this one. It was easy to communicate with Filippo before travelling and during the stay. His messages helped us finding the house, which wasn’t exactly where Google Maps showed. The house had plenty of room and everything was like we expected. Kitchen was nicely equipped for some cooking. Our teenage kids were thrilled to find a table tennis in the hobby room downstairs. In October mornings and evenings were pretty cool, and we spent daytime doing touristy things in Rome and surroundings, so we didn’t have time to spend lazy days the garden, but we did enjoy the beautiful scenes. In summertime the garden would be just lovely place to have breakfast! We had a rental car, and it was fairly easy to drive to Anagnina metro station and park there for only 1,5 e/day. The metro to Rome cost another 1,5 e/person. There is also a bus that stops nearby if you don’t feel like driving in Italy - the traffic is quite aggressive. We can warmly recommend this place! Grazie mille, Filippo and Christiane!
