Upon arrival, I had a little difficulty finding the Riad even though it was well marked/signed but within minutes a gentleman from the Riad noticed me on the street and guided me to the entrance. In addition, another gentleman accompanied my husband (and negotiated a favorable price) to the nearby secured parking. How helpful! AND, during check-in, we were presented with COLD freshly squeezed orange juice! What hospitality! But wait, there is more...our room was upgraded to an available suite. That evening, we dined at the in house restaurant and enjoyed one of the most delicious meals of our trip, In summary, wonderful hospitality, comfortable, spacious, and quiet room, large bathroom, and sumptuous courtyard filled with trees, flowers and three turtles - heaven.

Absolutely beautiful riad. Very comfortable and picturesque. The evening meal was more expensive than the room, and was excellent, but in reality too much food was provided (not exactly a complaint).

Stay here for the food. Expect to eat your body weight. The chicken Pastilla was outstanding. Spacious room.

The riad is absolutely beautiful! The owner, while clearly a businessman, was helpful in organizing excursions and transportation to the Agadir Airport. We had a WONDERFUL traditional dinner there - come with an appetite, it's so much food - and the breakfasts were great, as well

Though the riad is in the medina, it was easy to find it and there was a free parking lot fifty meters from the riad.
The hotel which also serves as a restaurant for outside parties is only ten years old. The style is traditional with modern colourful tiles, still within the tradition. The patio is very large with trees and plants. WiFi is working well. The house is retracted fifty meters from the busy shopping street Avenue Muhammed V which leads to the main square with many cafés and the Grand Mosqée
In contrast to the patio with its more or less traditional furniture, benches, cushions and tiled columns the rooms though spacious, have furniture and walls in garish pang colours, cyclamen, pink, luminescent yellow-green (Chartreuse) and a couple of blues. At least not to my Northern European taste

Typical Riad inside the city wall.
Typical and rich breakfast.
The traffic and the mess around the riad. (outside the riad property)

The hosts were really lovely. The food was the best we've had in Morocco yet. Absolutely delicious. The bed was comfy and they offered us a guided tour of the city (we did not take them up on this) but very kind.
Nothing.

The food, ambiance, and location were all excellent. Plants and cats were also happy.
Lighting too white and glaring. I would suggest LED bulbs instead of harsh fluorescent.

The host family is extremely nice. They cooked for us even though the restaurant was closed (Ramadan) and the food was amazing!

Our hosts were very welcoming and the atmosphere was that of a calm oasis, a welcome reprise from the busy streets of Taroudant. We loved our dinner - highly recommended!

Amazing food (both dinner and breakfast), great hospitality from the hosts. Very good location inside the city walls to explore Taroudant on foot. Spacious, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The lush Riad patio is very calm (no outside noise whatsoever) and a great place to relax in the evening.

It was always a wonder to leave the dusty streets behind and enter the quiet peaceful courtyard of this beautiful riad. the breakfast is excellent and the dinner was delicious, if over-catered, as others have mentioned. Wifi and hot water worked very well. Welcoming to two men traveling together.

Riad Maryam, like many Moroccan houses, is unassuming when viewed from the outside. But, once inside, an oasis of calm and beauty meets the eye. We had the suite which comprised a bedroom, bathroom and beautifully furnished sitting room on the first floor. From the windows one overlooked the central open area with shrubs and trees . The upstairs veranda had quiet, cool seating areas where it was good to escape the heat of the day. We had evening meals in the alcoves on the ground floor on a few occasions. These were delicious. The only problem, if it can be described as such, was that the amount of of food delivered to our table was too much. It was overwhelming and would easily have been enough for four or five people, rather than we two.

We had here the very best meal of our whole holidays in Morocco, delicious but a bit too generous. The decoration of the riad is also really worth the stay.
