The hotel was beautiful, the location is close to the train station, restaurants and shopping. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed and safe by all the staff.

Great location on the water with a 5 minute walk from the train station. We had a second floor balcony room facing the water. The views of the Ligurian Sea are great! Room was fully updated inside and comfortable. We were also fortunate to get upgraded to the corner suite, with a huge balcony. This hotel has character and we loved the town of Santa Margherita, and very much enjoyed our 2 night stay.
Some reviewers mention that the hotel is dated and needs upgrading. Other than the flaking paint on the exterior in some parts, I wouldn’t share this opinion. This is a lovely older “character” hotel.

location, breakfast, and access to pool/beach club was great. location perfect distance from train station and town. breakfast area and facilities around hotel are nice.
the hill view room did not have any view apart from the road and did not look like the images we booked. we upgraded our room to the terrace room after checking in and that room was lovely.
