Charming, comfortable, great value

It's the second time we've stayed here and we would definitely stay here again. We had the Featherbed studio and it is really comfortable for a couple. Spacious, good equipment in the kitchen, a private deck and braai stand including outdoor seating. It really is value for money! Plus the view out over the Knysna Heads is wonderful. The host, Kitty, and her dogs were warm and welcoming and only added to the fantastic experience. In addition, use of the garden and pool for all guests!

Amazing apartment, much bigger than what they pictures shows. has everything you needed and much much more. Secure, safe and quiet, just what I needed. Kitty the host was absolutely awesome. Will definitely go back.

Location and breathtaking view

DSTV package did not have all the sport channels, and as such, we were unable to watch the rugby during our stay.

An abode of comfort on a hillside overlooking Knysna

The view over the estuary from the balcony was exceptional in the morning. The inclusion of electric blankets was a very nice touch for our winter weekend. Having a battery backup for internet services was an unexpected nice touch. Offstreet parking was helpful, too. The Spar grocery was very conveniently close.

None of the following were our host's fault: sudden load-shedding, water loss to the neighborhood, inconsistent internet service, and chainsaws to remove a neighbor's tree. To have survived these with positive feelings about the trip was largely a credit to our host.

Quaint and larger than expected

Quaint apartment, larger than I expected. Everything I needed, attention to detail. Off street parking and a quiet area. Highly recommended! Beautiful view from small patio and kitchen window.

Such a pleasure

Kitty is very friendly and helpful. Cosy and clean. beautiful view, wish we could have enjoyed it more but we were visiting for sports tournament.

We loved everything about the establishment.It was clean,quite and we had everthing we needed in the cottage.The lovely garden was an added bonus which i enjoyed. Kitty was friendly and helpfull and made sure we had everything we needed.We will definitely be going back there agian.

Excellent value for money comfortable accomodation in Knysna with fine views.

Excellent view of lagoon and heads. Beautiful garden and pool. Very comfortable facilities. Extremely clean and tidy and well presented. Excellent value for money. Friendly and accommodating host. Secure parking.

A lovely place to stay with great sunset views.

Our host, Kitty, looked after us very well. We loved the views from our first floor balcony over the lagoon to the Knysna Heads. The garden and pool area were very attractive and enticing. Our host had provided a gas hob and barbecue, as well as an electric hob and microwave, which served us well during loadshedding. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. Two bonuses were the large fridge freezer and access to the garden clothes line. Secure parking was much appreciated. The location allowed us equally easy travel to the Waterfront, Thesen Island and the East Head.

It is hard to think of anything.

Excellent location to enjoy the bay and have some relaxing time. We will definetly come back.

They are super friendly and the view from their house was astonishing, the sunset is unbelievable. She helped us with a lot of tips on what to do and where to go for dinning. The house has everything you need to stay for a week or longer. The neighborhood is safe and you have private parking. Enjoy some time in their garden and pool :)

Hidden gem!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Kitty is fabulous! We had the studio apartment and the upper floor apartment shared for our family of 5. The view from the upper floor apartment was incredible, you could see the knysna heads from the balcony. The decor and interior of the apartments were quaint, quirky and well thought out. In terms of functionality, the apartments have everything you could need from gas hob (handy during loadshed) to a smart tv and plenty towels and blankets. Showers were excellent and bathrooms very spacious. Our only issue was that we had only booked 1 night and had little time to enjoy the area and the sparkling pool. Less than 5 minutes drive from the waterfront / main road. Absolute insane value for money, if you're stopping in Knysna, you must stay here.

Absolutley recommended, perfect stay in Knysna.

Everything about this stay was absolutely fantastic. The gorgeous views from the room, the garden, and the decoration and quality of the “room” (it had everything you can think of in a little apartment, even its own bbq in the terrace!). What made our stay even better was the hostess, she was super friendly, nice, and spent quite some time talking to us and giving us tips for our trip and what to visit around Knysna. It also had its own parking free of charge.
