Amabilidad de la señora del aseo. El wifi excelente.
Aire acondicionado funcionaba a veces.
No había shampoo
El velador era una tabla de madera de 20×20
La atención a clientes era solo hasta las 3 pm.

Location was great. The room is all a solo traveler needs .
I just think the room was too dark. Where the room is located already is a spot with not much light, and all glass in the window is opaque. So it doesn’t come much direct light in the room. But other than that, nothing to complain 😊

Établissement près des quartiers touristiques et des transports. Les petits déjeuners se prennent à l’extérieur dans un café tout près de l’établissement. Ils sont copieux.
Pas de réception l’après-midi et le soir.

1) Good location (20 minute walk from barceloneta and 7-10 minute walk from placa de catalunya).
2) Happy and auxiliary staff.
3) The whole hostal was very clean. Both the corridos and the rooms.
1) Small room.
2) Lack of breakfast.

Location is amazing. It is walking distance to Casa Batilo, Casa Mila, Sagrada Familia and easy bus / metro ride to Parc Guell, Palau Guell, Barcelona Cathedral, Montjuic castle, Placa Espana (for Montserrat).
Getting here from the airport was super easy using RENFE train.
There are many nice restaurants in the area - our favorite being Casa Amalia and Vintuis!
The staff (Anna) was very helpful telling us the best exit from Passeige de Gracia
Highly recommend this hotel for excellent location and good customer service

Good sized room in a great location. So handy for the metro and 5 minutes walk from the main hub of the city.
Very clean and nicely decorated.
Would use again.
Could do with a small fridge in the room for water.

The location was good. It was easy to find and within walking distance to the city centre. There's also elevator within the building which helps when there's luggages.
The room was a little too small and there's not really space to even open the luggage. The price feels a bit too expensive for the room size,
But the part that was most disappointing was the check in. We had already informed that we'll be arriving past 3pm and there's no receptionist but they didn't send us the instructions to check in beforehand. We had to call them on roaming to find out how to get in. We stayed for two nights and only 1 day after we checked out (total 3 days later) then we received the instructions. When we informed that we had already checked out the reply was that the message was sent before our arrival but we only somehow received it much later. That has never happened to me on the booking.com app before so I can't give them the benefit of doubt on this.

The cleanliness and the value for money. The staff named Cathy was accommodating and hospitable. The bathroom was superbly clean which is one thing that I usually check on every property I stay. The bed was comfortable that you would doze right off as you lie down to it. It was a hidden gem in the heart for Barcelona, no wonder it gets fully booked all the time.
Although I have no issues about anything wanted to suggest for the shower area to be extended at least half a meter more It was little bit too small that my shoulders would hit the wall. There were plenty of space between the toilet area.

This was a great place until you go to breakfast. Breakfast is located around the corner at restaurant. I got up to go eat early (I had a train to catch), waited 20 minutes for it to open (late opening which is common in Barcelona) and then was told that they weren't serving breakfast for hotel guests. So now I have to find another place to eat.
Nice place but you pay for breakfast and don't get it. They owe me 15 euros.

As a first time solo traveler and not accustomed to the workings of this accommodation…my arrival was after19.00 my phone battery was running low and had difficulty entering the property… to say the least I was stressed a kind lady in the building rang reception for me so I could get in

We had a clean and comfortable room with great shower. The place is close to the metro lines, even about 20 meters from a bus. If you wish the room is cleaned daily even during your stay.

- the location is close enough to attractions of the city.
- reception people are nice and helpful.
- the room is small but functional.
- having a kettle is a plus.
- the room window was covered with film to provide privacy from the inner courtyard but it makes the room claustrophobic.
- the shower floor wasn't look clean enough but it was mostly because of the wear.
- the air freshner smells so strong that it could make sensitive ones nauseous. it made all my staff smell like that for the next day:) it in my opinion the facility is clean enough so it's not necessary anyway.

Location
Breakfast was very poor due to the fact that the hostal use a third party restaurant to serve breakfast. The restaurant is not located inside the hostal and you need to walk far to get there. The breakfast was poorly prepared, very basic and staff did not really care, because they know the hostal management does not see the breakfast and they get there money from the hostal irrespective of service and quality.

Stuff was nice and helpfull. It was close to the center, clean, a lot of space.
The walls was very thin and we can hear our neighbors. Except that everything was very nice.

central location, kind and helpful staff, small but cozy room with cute terrace, very clean!
Great value for the money!
thin walls, we heard every conversation in the reception, but not in other rooms though..

I really recommend this place.

Room was very clean and spacious. Had a great patio. Good location.
Pricey for what it was. Room and location were great, but there basically wasn't any reception. Also no sound proofing between the rooms so could hear your neighbours conversations.

The hotel was very well located, 5 mins from Plaza Catalunya and Casa Batllo/Mila and 15-20 mins walk from the old town. We had one of the rooms facing the street. The internal soundproofing was good, but you could hear the cars/street noise at night. The room itself was very spacious and clean (it was cleaned almost every day). Very easy check in, even without the reception being open. On our checkout day we could leave our luggage at the hotel while having a last walk in the city.
