We spent four wonderful nights at this villa in Aubais and left feeling completely recharged. Aubais itself is a small, quiet town, but it has all the basic amenities you need: a bakery, small shop, and a few nearby restaurants, so you’re never far from the essentials while still enjoying a proper countryside escape. The villa itself exceeded our expectations. It’s an old property that’s been tastefully renovated, striking a lovely balance between character and comfort. The bedrooms and living areas are generously sized, and the house is filled with charming ornaments and furniture that give it real personality without feeling cluttered. It has the warmth of a family home rather than a generic holiday let.The kitchen was a particular highlight for us. It’s well equipped with everything you need, which made cooking a real pleasure rather than a compromise. We spent much of our stay preparing meals together and eating out in the garden, making the most of the produce from the local area.

When we arrived at the place we were puzzled!! located in a very tiny street, a metal gate welcomes you hiding a treasure.! you would never think what was hiding behind: an open court with a fountain and fish swimming about. a few steps up the stone walkway and a garden with pathways, benches and lavender, fig trees, olive trees and flowers envelope your senses.. a huge size pool awaits behind the garden ; all equipped with a multitude of lawn chairs and tables with a massive parasol. The 400 years old main building is genuine with an open kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances. across the main building another building connected by an overpass houses all the bedrooms. 3 bathrooms, extremely clean, sleep 6 most comfortably! you could dine outside every night at a different spot as there are so many tables and chairs available all over the property! The property was immaculate, fully equipped..nothing missing whatsoever.. the hosts, Laurette and Edouard, put you at ease at first encounter and were top hosts in every aspects. We recommend this property eyes closed to All. surrounded by small villages with weekly markets, wine caveaux and Roman influence it was our top get-away in this beautiful region where Provence and Languedoc meet. Simply SPECTACULAR!!! :) enjoy your stay.
