About this condo rental
Nestled in Split, this lovely condo for $467 per night is a great choice for your next break. Luxury first floor apartment nestled in the heart of the ancient Roman Diocletian's palace. The apartment has 2/3 generously proportioned double bedrooms, large living and dining area, 3 spacious bathrooms and a large private terrace. Please note that the third bedroom doubles up as the sitting room and the bed is a sofa bed. The apartment offers all conveniences including, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cable. TV with English movie channel, good Wi Fi connection, BBQ facilities and mounted hairdriers in each bathroom. We also have international power and usb sockets in each bedroom, as well as the dining room. Babysitting facilities and welcome packs can be arranged on request. Diocletian’s Palace is a pedestrianised zone, which means that car parking is a short walk away. There is a choice between paid and free parking, although free parking is slightly further away.The property can be reached by taxi or coach from Split airport which takes about 30 mins or why not allow us to arrange a private pick up from the airport for the same price as a taxi - we use Gecko tours, an excellent local tour operator who also offers a discount on many local tours (bespoke or advertised) for Prisca guests. NB. Please note - this apartment is for a maximum of 6 people and unauthorised accommodation of any further guests will risk further charges.

The apartment is awesome. Spacious, well decorated, well equipped, perfect location. It's like it wasn't enough to be a perfect accommodation, therefore, they included the best property managers Baldo and Nikolina. They were always available, helpful and a wealth of knowledge on the history of the Split region. The picture and description are exact. If we return to Split this will be where we stay. I highly recommend staying in this apartment if visiting Split. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Absolutely perfect apartment for our recent stay in Split. Our family was a group of four, including our two adult children. The three berdrooms, utilizing the living room as the 3ed bedroom, worked out perfectly but the real win was having three large and well equiped bathrooms. All of the apartment looks new and in great order, from the appliances to the bedding, to the air conditioning.
The patio served as a great late afternoon spot for us to relax and unwind after busy days of sightseeing. The location is simply perfect (right across from a great cafe, D16, which was adaily visit) and central to any part of the Old Town or harbor area.
But our stay was truly enhanced by the property managers, Baldo & Nicolina. The apartment was impeccably clean when we arrived and we were met directly at the parking area outsided the walls and escorted the short distance to the apartment by Baldo. Baldo helped with the luggage and provided a wealth of information on the town including good restaurants, sites to see, islands to visit, and ideas for our day trips outside the region. Every recommendation was spot on. He also gave us a brief history of Split and his passion for his hometown clearly shines through. Easy communication and quick responses from Baldo during the visit. Great benefit.
I highly recommend this apartment for it's location & amentities, and for Baldo. You won't be disappointed.

We had such a wonderful time in Split. The apartment was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable, we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and the washer allowed us to move on to our next destination with all our clothes clean. We hope to come back to Split again and will definitely try to stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at this location in Split. Baldo, the property manager was absolutely incredible and helped us navigate a driver from the airport and met us at the palace walls and helped bring our luggage to the rental. We were absolutely floored when we walked in and saw how big the patio was knowing we would enjoy that space. There are two very large bedrooms and three separate bathrooms that were absolutely outstanding. The amenities and furnishings in this location are top notch and I must give it up to Nicolina for the cleanliness absolutely spotless. We absolutely love that we were staying within the palace walls and really enjoyed how the area is pedestrian traffic only. Just cut down on noise although there was a small bar below my dad‘s bedroom with sometimes kept him up at night. The windows were incredibly soundproof once you closed them. Don’t think twice about booking the space. Although three of us were traveling, we did think we would need a third bedroom, but my sister and I were more than happy to share the second bedroom with two separate mattresses. Baldo was able to help us navigate where the best restaurants were to go to, the best tour operators, and the most important things to see while in town. He even sit us up with his friend, who picked us up from the airport to also drive us down to Dubrovnik to continue our holiday. Would highly recommend his friend Ante for a drive as he made us all feel safe while also giving us a tour. $40 from air

The flat was great in so many ways -- great communication w/ the host, big bedrooms w/ 3 full bathrooms, A/C in each room, Cable TV, central location, outdoor space, very clean and tidy. But the big plus was Baldo, the manager, who lives nextdoor. He was so helpful and had lots of information and insider tips -- he really made our stay memorable.

Fantastic stay in Split. Communication with property manager was excellent, especially check in, with a brief history lesson. Beds and bedding were only OK, but the space an location makes up for it. I would definitely return and recommend.

Exactly as the pictures show. Perfect location. Extremely responsive owners and the best host - Baldo. One of the best VRBOs from beginning to end we’ve ever stayed in. Well equipped. Very comfortable and very convenient. Stayed for four nights and could have stayed another week without thinking twice. If we return to Split in the near future this will be the place for us no doubt.

WOW is all my family and I could say when we entered this home! It's in the heart of Diocletian's Palace, super clean, well equipped and very spacious. The terrace is a major plus and we loved spending time out there every chance we got. Thea, property owner, was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions. Baldo, property manager, was excellent and we really appreciated him taking the time to give us a quick overview of the city with recommendations for sightseeing & dining. This place is well worth it and you will not be disappointed.

Apartment ideally situated in old town. Very roomy. Terrace is wonderful for meals and drinks and relaxing. Great communication with owner and property manager who both provide prompt responses. Only minor negative, and this is being nit-picky, is bath towels could be softer. Otherwise a great stay. Would highly recommend.

A simply superb apartment, wonderfully equipped and magically located. Nikolina was great, checking us in and giving us advice throughout our stay. Stepping out of the front door into the heart of the Diocletian Palace was an experience to be treasured. I was trying to think of something negative about our stay and came up with a less than perfect corkscrew. That tells you something, when a minor implement shortfall is the only thing that caused the slightest of irritation! Thea and Steven, you should be proud of the experience you offer your guests.

We were two couples who stayed here for a week. The apartment is even better than it looked in the listing. It was spacious and the beds were great! The patio was so nice for morning coffee and evening meals. Since it is in the center of the palace there is a lot of activity and noise from restaurants and foot traffic, but that is to be expected and part of the charm of staying here.
Baldo and his wife were amazing and so helpful! They responded to questions and requests in a few minutes no matter what time we messaged him.
The location is convenient to be able to head out for a meal or a drink while we were in town. Split was also a great location for day trips to smaller towns, the islands and national parks.
We were very pleased with our stay!

Everything was great from Baldo meeting us very late at the airport after a significant flight delay to him assisting us to get to the ferry port very early. The apartment was immaculate. It was very well equipped and the location was perfect. The website if anything does not do it justice on how good it is.

The property is located within a five minute walk of virtually all of the old city. It is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Everything inside was clean, well kept, and the beds were very comfortable. We all agreed that we would be happy to stay here again.

We loved our Split apartment! Great location, nice size rooms and high ceilings and the terrace was wonderful for evenings of wine and conversation.

A+ Stay in Split!
We have a great stay in Split in the heart of Diocletian's Palace -- a perfectly located luxury apartment filled with everything a family would need for a comfortable, multiple day stay. Add in Baldo, the host, who answered every question, and was there for any little minor issue (not to mention his outstanding tour company, Gecko Tours -- check them out for a day tour and Krka excursion) and we'd highly recommend this VRBO!

So much fun to stay inside the palace. The apartment was very clean ,quite large, and very quiet inside. We enjoyed the patio in the evenings. Baldo was very welcoming and so helpful with finding parking and meeting us. His knowledge of the area was appreciated. It was my son's favorite stay.

This rental is unbelievable! It is in one of the most travelled cities in the world, yet is so modern, spacious and comfortable! It’s in such an awesome location and is so incredibly gorgeous! As all have said before, Baldo is so great! A truly nice person who will do everything to help you out! Totally recommended this place!

Wonderful visit to Split with family
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and well equipped apartment. It is in the center of everything and very large, giving you room to spread out. We enjoyed having coffee and pastries on the porch in the morning and an after dinner drink at night. It really is the perfect place to stay. The Property Manager, Baldo went out of his way to make sure we had nothing to worry about. We also used his company, Gecko Tours to take us on walking tours of both Spilt and Trogir. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful start to our vacation in Croatia.

We found the owners and the property manager to be really friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The apartment was just wonderful- clean, elegant, very well equipped and centrally located. The bathrooms in particular were beautiful, and we loved the terrace area. The next day, Baldo the on site manager drove us to the airport and he was really punctual, and super helpful. We were just sorry that we only had time for one night there as we would have loved to stay for longer. We will most definitely be back! Nick and Nicky
