About this condo rental
Nestled in Edinburgh, this charming condo for $296 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. An elegant apartment with its own front door in the heart of fashionable Stockbridge area of Edinburgh. Quiet and peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to the bustling city centre. Sleeps 4 comfortably in 2 bedrooms, one a glamorous four poster king size bed with en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom either as 2 single or a king size bed with an en suite shower room. The sitting room, which overlooks a leafy patio garden, has a dining table, TV and antique fireplace. There is a separate loo which is convenient for guests. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer. A minute away is the fabulous private Dean Gardens , a 7 acre park and woodlands, so pretty all year round. A key is provided on request. The Water of Leith walkway is across from the flat with a riverside walk all the way down to the Port of Leith or up to the Galleries of Modern Art. Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am but if I can be flexible with this I will certainly try especially with luggage drop off and collection. Please just ask. There is pay parking on the street and free from 5.30pm-8.30am weekdays and on weekends or there is free parking about 10/15mins walk away on East Fettes Avenue.

The apartment was cozy, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and furnished with anything one could need. We spent our Christmas holidays there, and it felt just like home. The host was very kind and helpful.

This is our second time at this property for a girls' weekend in Edinburgh. Super place to stay. Spacious, comfortable, clean, cosy and in a beautiful, peaceful location, just perfect. Easy walking distance to the city centre or the local taxis were really good. Emma is a great host, very accommodating and helpful. We felt right at home.

The neighborhood is one where you want to respect the local community. Sure we stuck out as ‘tourists’, but hopefully left a light footprint.

We were two couples, and 3 sets of keys were included, so one could always be left in the lockbox for convenience. Access to the private garden was a wonderful bonus. Nice, clean place in a good location about a mile from the top of the Royal Mile. Owner communicated clearly and in a friendly way online when I asked questions. Would stay there again.

From initial contact until leaving today Emma has been excellent to communicate with. Her property is lovely, clean, comfortable,warm and a short walk to Stockbridge eateries. Close to city centre and was a great place for our weekend ( murrayfield weekend) . Travelling with friends it was great having ensure bathroom's for both bedrooms. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone . X

This was such a perfect place to stay. Easy walk into the city but away from the hustle and bustle of the Fringe. There are lots of shops, pubs and restaurants right around the corner if you want to stay close by. And being so close to Dean Gardens is an added bonus.
Emma gave us all the info we needed for check in and check out and also had a booklet inside with loads of recommendations. She is a superb host and we would definitely stay here again if we return.

We really enjoyed our stay in Emma's apartment. The sitting room was cosy and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and both bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms was a bonus.
Comely Bank is a lovely area for shops, cafes and restaurants and central Edinburgh is only 10 mins away!
I would be happy to recommend this apartment.

Fantastic Place
We capped off our mostly hiking trip in the Highlands with a couple of nights in this lovely flat. It was perfect. Beautifully appointed with vintage charm and modern amenities, we enjoyed the luxury before heading home. Emma was a very thorough host re communication and we loved her place. Would love to come back for a longer stay!

We stayed in the flat as a group of 4 friends. Everything was very straightforward, the flat is exactly as seen in the photographs. Beds are comfortable & everywhere was spotlessly clean. Lovely touches such as the coffee, milk & shortbread. Location was brilliant, 10 minute walk and you’re in the city centre, 2 minute walk to Stockbridge high street. Would definitely recommend the flat & hope to stay in it again.

The four of us found the property to be everything we needed during our stay in Edinburgh. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were perfect. Can’t speak highly enough about this property - it’s so cozy and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Stockbridge is such a charming neighborhood, and we loved having access to the private park where our toddler could run off some energy. Can’t speak highly enough about this property - it’s so cozy and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Stockbridge is such a charming neighborhood, and we loved having access to the private park where our toddler could run off some energy. We were weary travelers who walked into the most refreshing oasis when we opened the door to Emma's place!! We immediately felt at home and had a great home base from which to explore that beautiful city.

First visit to Edinburgh & The Fringe Festival
The apartment was a real treat. Charming and period while being comfortable with all modern amenities necessary. We only had a couple of days in Edinburgh so the location was really convenient for the centre. Parking near the apartment was a bit of a faff and in hindsight we should have left picking up our hire car to after the Edinburgh part of our holiday. Being so close you could walk in but we chose to hop in an Uber to town and back - quick and cheap for a family of four, and saved our feet for sightseeing. The area of Stockbridge is really pleasant and we would definitely choose it for a visit to Edinburgh again. Nice restaurants and convenient small shops at the end of the road. An excellent Swedish coffee shop that’s enough to make my husband rebook on it's own! Regarding the apartment I found the bed a little hard so didn’t sleep well but that can be personal preference. The apartment was on the whole spotlessly clean and my 4 stars were only not 5 because of a couple of stray cobwebs so me being picky.
We contacted the owner Emma a couple of times with queries and she was incredibly quick to respond and very helpful. Overall we would highly recommend and plan to revisit in the future.
