About this house rental
The property, affectionately known as No7, sits in a quiet, residential part of Begur, with a boutique hotel at the top of the road for delicious al fresco dining. Just across the road from No7, is a newly refurbished Padel tennis club, with great gym amenities available on a daily basis, at reasonable rates. Cycles can be hired from here too. Along with a small bar and a child friendly outdoor pool https://www.Padel Indians.cat/en. No.7, comprises: a spacious Catalan house, architect designed ‘Pods’ (4 identical bedroom/bathroom suites - Pods 2 & 3 interconnect, all pods have a/c). A fabulous 17m pool with diving board, surrounded by elegant garden areas with several sunny terraces, offering guests a range of spaces in which to eat, relax and play. No.7 lends itself perfectly to gatherings of friends and family, with its communal dining areas, a terrace in the shade of an old Mulberry tree; inside an airy dining room with a huge table. The ‘Moroccan’ room is perfect for younger members to ‘escape the rigours of the day’ and watch TV (Two large flat screens one of which has Sky channels), leaving the upstairs sitting room free for a quiet drink. The well-equipped kitchen, with windows opening onto the terrace is a lovely place to prepare delicious, locally sourced food. There are fabulous food markets in Begur and Parafrugel (6 km away). There is also an excellent supermarket two minutes drive. No.7 is wonderfully flexible as 5 of the bedrooms can be either large double or 2 single beds. All bedrooms are air-conditioned with white linen and feather pillows. Bathroom towels are provided as well as a beach towel for each guest. Begur centre is an 8 mins walk away. An abundance of top class restaurants abound, together with delightful, small designer shops for clothes, jewellery, housewares and gifts with a Catalan feel. Further afield there’s much else to explore. Cycling to medieval villages, local ruins, hilltop chapels, wineries, coastal walks, museums and galleries… explore.

The property appeared to be almost perfect for a large family or group with many adults and children. Large outdoor areas and a great pool made the stay a relaxing holiday for both children and adults. The house is located in a quiet street with good parking for many cars. Gerry, our host, provided very good information and responded quickly to the few clarifications we needed. The stay was a fantastic experience for our family.

Our group (4 adults, 3 teens) had a great stay at No.7. The villa was spacious, clean and excellently equipped and the teens loved having their own pod each. The fabulous pool and diving board got plenty of use as did the plentiful sun loungers. There’s a well stocked supermarket about 5 mins walk away and the town centre with its numerous bars and restaurants was around a 10 min walk. Our favourite restaurants were Carbo in town and the hotel just up the hill from the villa. El Jardi de Can Marc is a great spot for pre dinner drinks. To sum up, No7 is a fantastic villa in a great location and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
