Nice looking building, with ample parking in front. Breakfast was good (not superb like some the reviews made it out to be), maybe a tad more variety wouldn't have hurt but the room where we had breakfast was beautiful. Beds were comfortable too.
Nothing major, mind you. Location is just ok, it's almost a 30' walk to the center of Chester, so not that great. The room was nice enough, but definitely on the small side, especially for 3 people. Not enough space to store our things or to move around.

Our room was a good size, shower was excellent with really nice towels. The room also had a small fridge, which was a bonus, it also had a microwave. 15 minutes walk into main town, restaurant and pubs along the walk into town.
Needed a light outside our room to see your way to the door as plants and shrubs made area dark.

Not too far from the city centre, immaculate room and lovely decor.
Amazing shower and comfy bed
Breakfast could include a few more items, it was missing mushrooms and tomatoes but apart from that it was good with nice quality bacon and sausages

The hotel staff were very pleasant.
Breakfast was good with a wide choice of breakfast dishes, fruit juice, drinks etc.
The room was very clean and up-to-date - towels and toiletries supplied, adequate wardrobe space and a fridge.
Would have preferred a ground floor room and nearer to our family.
As the room was quite warm, we opened the window for some cool air, but unfortunately the noise of the traffic was rather loud.
Would say that the time slot for breakfast (8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.) could be extended as we were turned away at 8.35 a.m. and asked to return in 20 minutes as a table for the five us was not free at this time.

An exceptionally good accommodation a short walk from Chester city centre. Ample parking. A very welcoming reception on arrival. An excellent cooked breakfast which is at their hotel just next door, less than 30 foot steps away, in a nice conservatory space. The restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. The newly refurbished accommodation was good on décor and details, multiple USB plugs, good hair drier, quality towels, good sized fridge, excellent cupboard space in bathroom, good shower, well thought out lighting, two illuminated mirrors, good pillows to mention some. A lot of thought has gone into the decoration around the premises, a lovely reception space, lots of interesting retro artefacts. This accommodation punches well above its weight. As good a place as I’ve stayed in. It’s clearly run by someone who knows the hotel business and is customer orientated.

This is a B&B/hotel with a friendly and reassuring classic service and style with attention to the little things.
The reception and especially the breakfast staff were happy, cheerful and helpful.
Room was clean, comfortable and provided free bottles of water, nice biscuits plus packets of crisps which was most unexpected and a chocolate on the pillow on arrival (that doesn't happen very often these days).
The breakfast was a good buffet with all that you would expect. Additionally, they had hot cross buns on Good Friday and little chocolate eggs at the table for Easter - a very nice little touch.
If I had to say something, I would say that a better choice of teas and coffees for breakfast would have made everything perfect.

From 10 out of 10 everything was first class room, breakfast and staff. Just everything about our stay was outstanding including their recommendations on where to go and eat etc
Parking was first class and location to Chester city centre was perfect. But Hoole where we stayed also offered plenty in a short walk. Made in in Italy excellent quality Italian food. Just about a mile away for an excellent carvery was the Toby Inn, Tina was first class …
Great big thanks to Laura really vibrant and buzzing personality..
To be honest nothing, everything was perfect no major flaws issues one absolutely stupid thing and being really petty was squeaky door handle on en-suite… that’s being really picky.
