The room was cosy and looked very nice! The stuff was helpful and there was a beautiful garden outside. Magic place !

Unfortunatelly wifi does not work in room.

We were treated very well by a very small staff. The hotel was ideally situated for travel to Lucca and beyond using private or public transport.

On arrival told that the pool and restaurant were closed although the pool was cleaned and prepared for use the following day. A breakfast was made available for us each day but it was not possible to eat dinner here or nearby. Originally advertised as 5 star but told before travelling that this was no longer the case and would have to say 3 stars at best. A lovely building but a little tired.

The location, the rooms, the lovely staff and the pool were magical, especially in 40 degree heat.

The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The pool is amazing!

Air must circle more in the rooms, it smells of closure

this is a family owned and run resort with an amazingly beautifull garden setting the right atmosphere around the pool. the staff as well as the owner (Dr. Grassi) are proud and passionate about the resort which completes the experience of staying in such an antique manor house. Grassi: many thanks for the great lunch you prepared for us, and for taking such good care of us during our stay.

the restaurant (which on its own is a beautifull area where breakfast is served) is closed for dinner. I hope you get it open as soon as possible. a small comment would be: the carpet in the room we stayed could be replaced.
