Un charmant Break dans une jolie maison
On a passé de super vacances dans la vallée de la Dordogne. La propriété était belle (spacieuse, bien aménagée, confortable et parfaitement située - sur le haut du village, mais à moins de 5 minutes à pied du lac). Chaque jour nous nous sommes promenés avec Belle notre chienne Il y avait beaucoup à voir et à faire à Bergerac comme à Périgueux, Tout était comme annoncé en ce qui concerne la propriété et Ann a été très gentille et utile dans toutes nos demandes. Je recommande vivement cette maison pour d agréables vacances.

Maison de caractère bien située
Merci pour ce beau séjour. La maison est parfaite et répond à tous les critères : individuelle, confort, emplacement, quiétude, chaleur...Nous avons pu réaliser tous nos projets et déplacements dans ce paysage idyllique. Nous reviendrons rapidement

It’s advertised as being renovated, but that must have been a long time ago. Everything in property is either worn out (sofas) or infested with woodworm including the headboards.
The outside furniture was old and the kitchen hadn’t had a decent clean in months.
We left after one night and lost the rest of our money as we chose to move elsewhere.
Communication with the owner is difficult as they will only communicate via the home away system which they hardly check.
Please also note that 2 days prior to arrival, she will contact you to try to and sell you sheets @ 40 euros and then a cleaning service for when you leave for 60 euros!
My advice would be to avoid. The advert is not an accurate representation at all.
There are much better properties in the area.

Nous avions été tellement enchantés par notre séjour de l'année dernière que nous n'avons pas réfléchi longtemps pour savoir où loger pour ces nouvelles vacances en Dordogne. La maison est idéalement située pour rayonner sur un nombre important de sites touristiques majeurs ,mais aussi de nombreux restaurant, sans parler des activités de loisirs aux alentours.
La maison typique Périgourdine est très confortable, calme, spacieuse, extrêmement bien entretenue, très bien équipée, et la propriétaire est fort prévenante et accueillante.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir lors d'un prochain voyage car nous n avons toujours pas tout visité.

Agréable maison Périgourdine typique, comfortable et bien équipée. Nous avons l'impression d'être seuls dans la nature, à cause du calme et environnement formidable. Mme est très serviable et chaleureuse. L'endroit est bien situé pour découvrir la région. Grande variété d'activité à proximité immédiate : vélo, ballades, canoé, plage, quad, cheval, châteaux, grottes , marchés, resto...

Nous nous sommes bien plu et avons apprécié ce logement. La maison est spacieuse, propre, confortable et sur- équipée : tout ce que nous avions besoin était là. Le WiFi est bon. Le village a été facilement accessible à pied. C'est magnifique, bucolique, à ne pas manquer...

From our very first enquiry, we found dealing with John and Ann to be a very pleasant and friendly experience. The booking process was dealt with extremely efficiently and we were provided with ample information in advance about what to expect and how to find the property. Upon arrival, we were really touched by how welcome we were made to feel. John and Ann are exceptional hosts with a keen eye for detail, and this was evident in the comfort and quality of the property and the way it was presented. The location is extraordinarily peaceful, without being too isolated.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !...
Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) haben nun schon zum dritten Mal unsere Ferien auf der Gite Alienor verbracht. Wir sind alle hell begeistert von dem wunderschönen Ort und können die Gite vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause und will eigentlich nie mehr weg. Unsere Ferien waren einmal mehr sehr erholsam und sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Fahrt mit den Kanus auf der Dordogne war ein speziell schönes Erlebnis.
Vielen herzlichen Dank an die wunderbar kompetenten Gastgeber. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Belles vacances avec notre chien
« Nous, deux adultes et un chien nous sommes sentis très bien. Le gîte est situé dans un grand parc, aux allures de parc fleuri avec des arbres matures et plusieurs salon de jardin. Tout le monde y a trouvé son gout et pris ses habitudes...La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, belle cuisine, belles chambres, calme et espace . La propriétaire était très sympathique et sobre. Le village est très pittoresque et relaxant. L'auberge du village est excellente »

Ambiance d'autrefois avec confort et espace
Nous sommes venus pour la deuxième fois dans cette grande maison . il a des nouveautés cette année ( salle de jeux et transats). Nous étions 4 personnes et un chien et nous avons senti très à l'aise. La cuisine dispose de tous les moyens nécessaires pour préparer un bon repas . le jardin est vaste, spacieux et bien entretenu, c'est idéal pour le chien en toute liberté . La logeuse est très chaleureuse et nous aide avec toutes les questions et sa documentation à jour.
Sinon, la maison est mis en place afin que tout le monde possède un espace dédié et les vieux meubles et les grands planchers en bois donnent à la maison un certaine ambiance d'autrefois . Donc absolument recommandable et le prix / performance est supérieur. »

Patrimoine VVT découvertes restau que du bonheur
Idéal pour découvertes des sites remarquables, des villages perchés, des vignobles de Bergerac, de la vallée de la Dordogne,.. Patrimoine régional très riche : lavoirs, villages classés, bastides anglaises et françaises, murs en pierres sèches, puits,.. La maison de pierre, bois et chaux est également authentique, confortable avec un jardin très agréable. L'accueil par Ann est impeccable avec des confitures maison et de la documentation sélectionnée et récente. Merci.. Nombreuses randonnées au départ de la propriété (Gr et chemins balisés), circuits en vélo (route ou VTT). En saison (avril, octobre), récoltes des nombreux fruits et légumes des producteurs locaux sur les marchées et visite du célèbre marché d'Issigeac le dimanche....

Tout y est dans la maison pour un agréable séjour;
Merci à Ann pour la bouteille de vin, les confiture et les œufs de ses poules, déjà dans le réfrigérateur à notre arrivée
Excellent accueil, et j'oubliais que le feu du joli poêle était tout prêt, il n'y avait que l'allumette à craquer !
les activités touristiques sont à foison et les conseils et le classeur d'Ann ont bien été utiles

Maison de reve, temps estival, jardin magnifique
Une maison parfaite pour une famille avec petits enfants: très spacieuse, agréable, confortable. Rien ne manque. Le parc et le jardin sont très agréables, sans parler de la salle de jeux indépendante, de la grange couverte, du barbe-cue et des vaches nos voisines ! le village de Lanquais est également , classé, préservé et trés joli, et la région verte, trés reposante et surtout riche en produits locaux: foie gras, confits, vins du sud-ouest, canard ;) ! Idéal pour se ressourcer en toute saison. Ici, le temps a été particulièrement doux et clément. Je recommande sans hésiter.

MaisonFamiliale parfaitement restaurée confortable
Un grand merci à Anne et Jean pour votre hospitalité. Nous avons tout adoré: la vue est belle et le jardin est très joli, et les enfants ont adoré la salle de jeux indépendante. C'est rare et c'est un plus appréciable pour tous. Le Wifi fonctionne bien. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin, la cuisine est encore mieux que ce que j'ai à la maison. Jean et Anne ont vraiment pensé à tout. Les extérieurs sont agréables, l"auberge du village est très accueillante et d'un bon rapport qualité prix pour les familles.
Merci beaucoup, nous y retournerons, c'est sûr.

Maison typique Périgord-France
Nous avons récemment séjourné à la Maison Alienor pour deux semaines, nous avons trouvé que c'était une maison française très typique située proche de la paisible ville de Bergerac. La maison était très confortable, avec deux grandes chambres doubles, de taille et est équipée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour indépendant. À quelques minutes à pied il y a un bon restaurant, convivial avec des menus abordables. À moins de cinq minutes à pied vous êtes au lac où vous pouvez profiter d'agréables promenades le long de la rive ou dans la foret du château. Nous avons également découvert un domaine viticole local près de Beaumont où nous avons goûté le vin blanc et rouge tant que nous pouvons recommander. Il y a de nombreux endroits à visiter, des bastides, des grottes, des châteaux et beaucoup de bons restaurants.

Les aménagements Intérieur et extérieur sont de très grandes qualités. Tout est pensé pour un grand confort.La propriétaire est très disponible et accueillant. Le rapport qualité prix est plus qu'agréable. Ce lieu vaut le détour...... Une semaine ne suffit pas, nous reviendrons assurément.

Bien situé, près des sites
Le gîte est bien équipé, très propre et a été récemment rénové. Les enfants (13 ans et 11 ans), on a adoré la salle de jeux indépendante avec le ping-pong, le baby-foot et le grand jardin; tandis que mon mari et moi avons vraiment apprécié la vue sur le château et le calme. L'emplacement est idéal pour explorer la région, il y a beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir.

Fantastic, Maison Aliénor is the most fantastic place to stay, it has everything you could want for a totally relaxing get away from it all holiday. The house is in a rural hamlet which gives total peace and quiet, it is lovely to relax on the garden and just hear the sounds of birds. We had some lovely hot days 30-35 degrees and the outdoor was nice to have an evening barbecue and enjoy the setting sun
The property feels like being at home and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The local town Lalinde is really lovely with a selection of shops and places to eat if you dont want to cook yourself. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a home from home holiday in this part of France.

Amazing Holiday
MY wife and I had never stayed in a holiday cottage before. Normally hotels near the beach. Our week here at Languais near Bergerac will really change our holiday ideas in the future. Arrived about 20:00 after a short flight from Southampton to Bergerac. Picking up a hire car from the airport. We met Mme Marty at the cottage who showed us around this beautiful house. Everything inside was to a high standard. Kitchen had everything and more you would need including a dish washer. Nice newly fitted shower room.Very comfortable beds. Our host even booked us a table in the restaurant two minutes walk down the road. In the morning we explored the large garden. This includes a long driveway so the car is parked off the road. There is a covered area next to the house with a large table and chairs which I think was a converted hay loft. We ate breakfast there most mornings. Both my wife and I fell in love with the house. The village its self is so quiet and sleepy. We walked about exploring most evenings but only saw a handful of people. The area around Bergerac is stunning. Beautiful scenery with woods vineyards and Chateau's all over. We found a bakery and supermarket in Faux a few miles up the road but the larger town of Lalinde had more choice. We had a wonderful holiday. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place in a beautiful area of France staying in a wonderful house then this is for you.
