Cannot get a more perfect location to explore and enjoy this unique ancient stone city. Sitting out on the terrace we had the best views of Matera, it took our breath away. This apartment is incredible, would definitely stay again.

An amazing suite, with enormous private terrace, and a jaw-dropping view. Very peaceful yet central to everything. The cave bedroom and bathroom are very atmospheric.
Firm bed and sponge pillows (a common Italian theme). AC unit was rather noisy but it wasn’t too hot so we switched it off. Note this is not a hotel so there’s no breakfast etc.

The location was super in the middle of the old town and the outside terrace area was the best spot in Matera.
We loved the views from the balcony and the authentic feel of the spacious suite.
