Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und es war alles vorhanden was ein gutes Frühstück ausmacht. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Trotz voller Terrasse immer noch Zeit für ein freundliches Wort. Das Haus liegt schon sehr abgeschieden, was einerseits schön ist, aber dann andererseits oft die Lust fehlt zum Abendessen noch zu fahren. Die Speisekarte bot aber genug um schön zu speisen. Wir haben ( Gruppe mit 10 Personen ) rundherum ein paar schöne Tage im Spreewald erlebt.

Absolutely stunning place. Room very cozy, super clean with extremely comfortable bed - what's for as is really important. Delicious breakfast and great options of tasty meals served by their restaurant. Kind and friendly owners as well as the staff. Guesthouse is located in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature. Safe parking place, paddle boats, boats, bicycles- an oasis where you don't need anything else. With great pleasure we'll be back.

I'd love to stay longer but as a digital nomad, I need more stable and faster internet. If you don't need to send files then just for communication it's fast enough. I know it's too small to offer also vegan options but would be great to have some oat milk for breakfast.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, unser Zimmer (eigentlich zwei Zimmer) hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Hervorzuheben ist die liebevolle Ausstattung für unseren Hund. Das Restaurant ist urig und bietet eine vielseitige Auswahl regionaler Speisen, alles sehr schmackhaft und ansprechend präsentiert. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist vielseitig und lecker. Die Lage direkt an der Spree ist idyllisch und angenehm ruhig.

Der Parkplatz ist leider unbefestigt und bei Regenwetter schlammig und mit tiefen Pfützen übersät. Für das Wohnzimmer wäre eine zusätzliche Stehlampe nett für etwas mehr Gemütlichkeit.

We had a great time staying at this quaint guest house. We took the RE2 train from just outside of Berlin, and as other reviews mentioned, a taxi is necessary to get from the Lubbenau train station to the guest house. (It was 30 euro total for 3 of us, and about a 45 minute ride.) We arrived before a few hours before check-in, around 10 am, to the surprise of the staff, (I wanted to arrive early to make the most of the whole day). Even though our rooms weren't ready, we were able to store our luggage and the staff helped us get bikes to ride into the town. Note, only a couple of people on the staff speak English, and I don't think the locals see a lot of US tourists, but we appreciated the help we were given. We got the bikes for the whole day and later, the owner/manager assisted us with a canoe and also made us a dinner reservation. My favorite part of our stay was the incredible dinner!! It was an idyllic guesthouse, right on the water. I would highly recommend this place.

As I expected, few people in Spreewald speak English, so be prepared with necessary phrases or else you'll have locals looking at you with confusion. Also, the rooms are nice and clean, but they are pretty small and ours did not look like the pictures. It was a bit more generic hotel-looking, which was fine by me. We had a lovely view of the water and could hear it trickling nicely outside of our window at night. Although, the cows next door begin mooing early in the morning, so be prepared for that.

The property is secluded, yet right next to all major sights. It is located right by the main river from where you can paddle to all neighboring towns. On property bicycle rental allows for exploring the beautiful nature all around. This property allows for a true experience of Spreewald living. The in-house restaurant offers authentic and delicious food. Just don’t arrive on a Thursday, which is their only day of closure.

Nothing, everything was great and immaculate. I felt save and welcome at all times.
