The view from our room was idyllic; we could see the town and the beautiful island in the lake. The location was easy to find and had dedicated parking. The staff were helpful and pleasant and certainly gifted in many languages. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and especially the delicious coffees and espressos we were served. We also had dinner here one night, and it was one of the best meals of our trip. We particularly loved the old-time feel of the hotel and the classic feel of the lobby and rooms. It was not excessively fancy, but truly a lovely hotel in a beautiful town. Highly recommend.
It would have been nice if it had had an exercise room with a treadmill and an elliptical, but few hotels in Europe do. We like to run for exercise but found many roads dangerous to run on, and also there are so many hills it was hard on our old knees.

Location and views were great
Nothing it was lovely.
if anything at all I’d say breakfast could have been a little more exciting, wider variety of hot/ cold foods , fresh fruit knife to cut fruits to have with yoghurt , greater mix of pastries and fresh brewed decaffeinated coffee. It just lacked a little in terms of presentation in comparison to what some other hotels provided.
Staff however were amazing and so helpful .

The lake views from the hotel balcony are magnificent. The room is pretty big. Convenient location to the lake and center with the restaurants and shops. If you arrive by train you will have to walk to the hotel as there are no taxis available at the train station.
The hotel is a bit dated with average, basic breakfast.
