Booked a nice two-level apartment in Tarifa a month before the trip. The day before check-in, we were forced to check in online, submit all our documents, and were told that it is not possible to check in on the spot. Ok, done. Although we see this for the first time, everyone always registers on the spot. A few hours before check-in, we were told that we could not check-in to the booked apartment because the couch was wet. They offered us another option, emphasized that the new apartment is more expensive, but they will not take any more money from us. We agreed, because we were already in place and could not find a new apartment. Check-in was as late as 5 p.m., it's very late, it's the first time I've seen them make us wait for 3 hours. As it turned out, it was just a scam. Because the apartment they offered us was 30 euros cheaper. When we announced this to the landlords, they told us that this apartment (one-room apartment) costs 50-60% more than the two-level one that we are ordering, and this is a discount only today and certainly not for us, and no one returned the 30 euro difference to us. This is very unpleasant. Lies were felt at every step.

great stay and good value. main issue lack of available parking nearby. Vivi was fantastic.

quirky apartment right in centre of old town 2-5 mins from port, bars, shops, restaurants.

no parking and the area was a nightmare to park anywhere

all in all a great stay in a great apartment.

great location, central to Tarifa town centre and local bars and restaurants. parking was close by at the port car park too so not to far to carry luggage. easy check in and check out and the host was more than helpful before and during my stay.

This was the coolest apartment I've stayed in during any trip. It was comfortable, the shower was great, the balcony looked amazing (I just wish we could have enjoyed it - it was raining and windy the whole time we were there), and I love that the bed was up in a loft overlooking the rest of the apartment.

It was a little sketchy to get down the ladder if you have to pee in the middle of the night - someone may easily fall from the loft if they're not careful

Staff (not on site, never met in person) allowed us early entry when we got stuck in Tarifa due to cancelled ferries. Space is beautiful!

Booking.com didn't make the cleaning fee super clear... Raised total cost nearly x2.

Superb

The owner was helpful and contacted us prior to our visit to let us know the apartment was ready early. Apartment very spacious and had a lovely roof terrace. Superb location close to the center of the town.

Due to its location it was a little noisy in the early hours of the morning but nothing major.

Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Tarifa!

Beautiful apartment and in an absolutely amazing location - would highly recommend for a couple's trip!

Not suitable for travelling with young kids but perfect for a couples get away.

Central location

Location is amazing, right at the center of tarifa old town, very short walk to the beach, all restaurants, shops etc. Would recommend if you are going for nights out as it's right next to all the bars and clubs, you'll be home in 1 minute!

The bed and sofa bed are not super comfortable, and the area is incredibly loud at night due to bars and clubs. The patio door was completely off hinges when I visited so we were too uncomfortable to use the patio. I would also note that there's a lot of narrow steps to get into the flat and to get to the bed and the patio.

It's very good for 2 persons, but the sofa is not the most comfortable to sleep (for the 3rd person).

Beautifully renovated and idyllic apartment in the old town of Tarifa. Wonderful restaurants and bars nearby. Friendly and helpful staff, all things went smoothly.

Nice apartment

It’s a very beautiful apartment, with all facilities and a nice terrace roof top to hang out. Location is great.

It’s very close to two pubs and the noise of party people was so loud, difficult to sleep if you are not going out to party too.

Great place to stay

The apartment was lovely and spacious for the two of us. The rooftop was lovely to have breakfast and the apartment had everything you need. Aurora was lovely and very welcoming and if you needed anything she would be there. We will be definitely coming back soon.

Superb

I loved the quirkiness of the apartment! It was perfect for 2 people and comfy for us both to sleep there- with a big sofa bed and a double bed upstairs. It was really close to everything! Aurora picked us up from the bus station too which was so kind of her and made the beginning of our stay even easier (it’s less than a 10 minute walk though so even if you come by bus it’s very close). The roof terrace was cute too with a view of the port!

The shower seemed to get cold very quickly - one person had a 5 minute shower and the next person would go in and it would be cold already.
