The host and his staff were friendly and helpful. We were helped by Anna who helped us with our luggage. We knew there was no elevator but did not expect that the staircase would be narrow and winding. Barbaros and his staff, including those at the restaurant were very welcoming and nice to us. The food was excellent and Kadir was very attentive to our needs. Very close to stores and tourist attraction. Having a kitchen with the necessary essentials was a bonus. Having a washing machine was handy.
The place could be updated a bit.Better lighting on the stairwell and rooms. The rooms could benefit from new paint and wall paper.

Pasha's house was in a great location as we could walk to many choices of restaurants for all our meals. We also walked ro the Hagia Sophia and the other major landmarks without much trouble which is such a great way to experience this part of the city.
The apartment is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. So great to have a washing machine too ! The airconditioning was very effective and the neighbourhood nice and quiet.
The host was always very responsive and proactive.
As this is a lovely old building with timber floors and ceilings, the noise from the people walking around etc above us was quite annoying at night when trying to get to sleep if they are still up.

It was close to downtown. The beds were comfortable.
There were a lot of ants in the apartment. There wasn't even enough light in the bathroom to shave or put on makeup. The towel racks in the bathroom were broken, the shower gel and shampoo were in 1.5 liter soda bottles in the shower, while the sinks were empty. The handles on the cabinets were missing. The walls and ceiling are so thin that you can hear every movement of the sofas. If someone on the upper floor moves or snores, the person below wakes up at night.
