Ta' Happin Farmhouse is a 200-year old renovated farmhouse situated in the quiet village of Xaghra. The building in its early years was used as an animal driven mill. In fact the big arches of the milling room are a main feature of what is today the living room. In the past the first floor rooms were used as wheat and clover storage rooms. The plan of the farmhouse consists of a pool/bbq area as you enter. The pool is situated in front of a large living room which leads to the kitchen. A bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor with an internal staircase leads up to the first floor to two other bedrooms with ensuite shower room and an ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi respectively. Most of the furniture is antique furniture which gives the farmhouse a rustic feeling that takes you back in time.

Lovely charming,quirky villa ,2 bedrooms up stairs one downstairs, great balconies for photos, fantastic pool which has steps rather than a ladder so you can sit and cool off in the pool even if you don't want to swim.Fans in rooms if you don't want to use the air conditioning which takes 1 or 2 euro coins in meter so you need a supply of coins. Great location,small supermarket about 5 houses down if you need basics, good supermarket,The Lighthouse , about 15 minutes walk or can get a Bolt taxi. Number of restaurants in village square about 15 minutes walk or Bolt taxi 7 to 10 euros,food good in all the restaurants we tried or the Bake house restaurant about 10 minutes walk. Ta Frenc restaurant about 15 minutes drive away is amazingAaron is a lovely friendly host who checked up on us after a few days to make sure we were happy with everything, very quick to respond to any queries,organised transfers from airport to villa 55 euros for 3 adults plus ferry fare and organised car hire. Left welcome pack of essentials for when we arrived. Would definitely recommend the villa.

Amazing traditional property. Absolutely loved it! Large comfortable rooms in beautiful stone all sensitively decorated. 3 fully equiped bathrooms. Outside area terraces, balcony, pool area superb. Local well equiped shop 1 min walk away. 10 min walk to the Ggantija temple/ windmill /lovely cafe. 3 mins more to the square with bars, pharmacy, shops, butchers bakery, restaurants etc. It's on 2 bus routes one from the port and one to Victoria. 30 min walk to the beach. Excellent wifi allows you to get bolt any time any where else on the island. (Even to and from the beach) Host very helpful and easily contactable. It is a perfect property to explore the island and to relax.
