About this cottage rental
This house is the quiet retreat for a couple who want to enjoy a few days of quiet and silence. Here you will find yourself; the sounds of nature followed by brief moments of total silence. Then the various rails invite you to hike through the forest of cork trees and discover the belvedere at the top of a great mountain. Go up and sit in one of the chairs and enjoy a horizon until the view reaches, over mountains and the plain Alentejo. And continue the discovery of a small lake passing also by the capoeira where you can enjoy fresh eggs and still find sheep and goats.
The terrace of the house is also an invitation to yoga lovers. Because the deck in front of the house allows us to enjoy a great place to practice, And let the hours and days happen !!

Not the place to come if you want lots to do, surrounded by other holiday makers.This is the place to come for a clean, comfortable, rustic property with a generous host.We explored the local area/beaches daily. Returning late afternoon, to enjoy exploring Antonio's property. Walking through the cork trees, climbing the look out points, sitting on the swing and walking to the lake. Evenings were spent on the balcony surrounded by complete silence. Breathtakenly beautiful.Antonio is a most generous host. From our first meeting on a dirt track when he 'rescued' us when we didn't find the house initially. We followed behind his car to the house on the hill. Stopping on the way for him to collect us eggs from his chickens and fresh produce from his garden. We had welcome, wine, water and cakes waiting for our arrival.Antonio is so proud of the house and quite rightly so. The views were stunning beyond belief and the tranquillity needs to be experienced.

If you want to relax, like nature, silence and good views - this is it. António was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The cabin is located on a massive property with cork trees on top of a hill, amazing sunsets included.

What a perfect little house! Nothing fancy but more then enough comfort to spend a very, very relaxing time. Stunning 360 views, peace and quiet and super host Antonio who brought us some yummy goodies once in a while (e.g. home baked alentejo bread). You have 100% privacy. Bed is very comfortable. The house is on a hilltop with a nice cooling wind around on hot days. No airco needed as the nights are cool.
