About this bed and breakfast
Luna is a guest studio apartment that can sleep up to 3 people. This unit has a unique indoor/outdoor kitchen with a porch for dining or sitting under the stars. Inside there's a comfy queen size bed, as well as a sitting area with a twin, a mini fridge & a coffee maker. You can feel the love in each corner of this special space. iL Sognatore is peaceful, has secure parking inside the compound & it's conveniently located close to the airport and the best beaches on the NW Coast of PR! The space: Luna is cozy, private, quiet and beautiful. It has a full size mural of the Old San Juan door, painted by a local artist which has become an instagram staple. The handmade Italian woodwork can be appreciated in every detail. There is a charming indoor/outdoor kitchen with a gas stove and a sink. Wake up to the sound of the birds and sip your coffee out on the private porch. There's also a full 3-piece bathroom and an outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach! Other things to Note: - There is a water rationing in place for the NW of Puerto Rico. il Sognatore has 1200 gallon cistern when city water is turned off. There is plenty of hot water and water pressure even on the off days, but we ask guest to be mindful of their water usage during the off times. - The host offers private surf lessons, snorkeling tours, and spearfishing. Early Check-ins: Early morning flight arriving at BQN airport at 1 AM to 3 AM are welcome to check in at anytime but remember to book the night before your arrival to secure your sleep hours and prevent other guests from booking the early morning hours. If you don't check in is at 2pm. The neighborhood: iL Sognatore is located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a dead end street. It is encircled by concrete fencing and tall trees, which provides shade, privacy, safety and quiet. It is a calm neighborhood where the only drivers are those that live around. Getting around: Situated about 10 minutes from the Best Beaches in Aguadilla and Isabela, the Punta Borinquen Golf Course, Punta Borinquen's surf reserve and the Aguadilla Airport (BQN). You can walk to the Coffee Spot from the property and there is also a gas station and the Hewlett Packard nearby. It is very close to restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets but a car is needed since there is no public transportation. The neighborhood has a track for walking or running, if you want to exercise.

Property was easy to locate. Host was great. Property was clean and welcoming.

Even though the main street to get there isn't pretty and the location in the app is not accurate (need to be fixed) as soon as you enter to the property you are in a really nice place. They are pet friendly and very welcoming people. Me and my husband didn't really have the time to enjoy the space because of the time that we arrived, the weather and the short stay, but really like the apartment. Was clean, quiet and very creative space. We did not use the the AC to sleep and that gave us the opportunity to enjoy the sound of nature as the "coqui", different birds and even the rain, so if you love a private, quite place surrounded with nature, this is the place for you,

This is the 2nd time we stay here in this location. This experience was more intimate because we chose the studio in the back, it was private, peaceful, & beautiful. Definitely coming back. Gracias un monton.

We enjoyed being off the beaten path yet close enough to top beaches! We loved the property.
We enjoyed the owner and his family as well as the dogs and chickens. So quiet and we felt safe and loved all the artwork and plantings. Everything was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home the second we arrived.
Fabio gave us excellent suggestions and was available for any questions.
We are an older active couple and really enjoyed our stay. Cooking outdoors was a pleasure and a wonderful experience.

This was our 3rd stay at IL Sognatore, Luna being our favorite. We love the privacy and tranquility, but most of all, Fabio’s hospitality and attention to detail. This is our “go to” property whenever we are in the area. Thanks for everything Fabio!

Last minute weekend getaway
This was our 1st time at Luna, but 2nd time staying at Fabio’s guest house . Cozy, comfortable, exactly as described and pictured. The space was very private and has everything you need. We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating area and kitchen. As usual, Fabio’s hospitality and attention to detail made a difference. We notified him that we would have a late arrival and the place was ready for us: with lights and fan on. We look forward to our next experience at IL Sognatore!

Perfect Bit of Peace and Comfort
Fabio began my stay with a wonderful introduction and tour of the grounds. The place is perfect a little slice of serenity with easy access to some beautiful beaches. The place has amazing charm and beautiful art that adds to the experience. I look forward to being able to visit again in the future!

The Luna apartment we stayed in was comfy, neat, and quiet, done up in a rustic surfer style, using wooden pallets for some of the furniture. The property lies very near to the Aguadilla airport, but we only noticed 3 airplanes in as many nights. The property has a fairly big lot, enclosed by cyclone fence, the front a 6-foot solid wall, and plenty of trees and shade, with the owner's house and a number of equally colorful, smaller buildings (the guest rooms) contained within. Very charming! It has a country vibe, yet it's only about 5 minutes to Carretera #2, the main road in the West of PR. The owner, Fabio, was affable, friendly and responsive to our requests; we unfortunately did not interact as much as we would have liked, as we had a busy schedule, and left early in the morning and returned exhausted late at night. But we'd certainly love to return and stay again for a real vacation! Of note: there were power outages both on Friday pre-dawn and on Saturday night; obviously not the property owner's fault, but be aware that the PR power grid is weak, and that there's no backup generator. The shower stall is fairly small, guests of larger girths may find it difficult to use. There's a very small fridge inside the room, perfect for beers, but not for any but a very modest visit to the grocery store. There's an adjacent outdoor kitchen, we did not get the chance to try it out.
Overall great experience, recommend, looking forward to visiting again!

Definetly what I was looking for, away from most tourist and living like the locals. The best beach for my taste 10 minutes away, Crash Boat Beach. The property is beautiful, I even prepared a ceviche to take to the beach and enjoy. My puppy had a great time paddle boarding and I can't wait to get back. Checking out tomorrow morning!

A gem in paradise!
We loved our stay at the Luna. This quiet little place is hidden away from traffic and noise yet minutes away from Aguadilla airport. It is very private with a rustic simplistic feel. This is not your average hotel accommodation. If you need a TV in your room this place is not for you. It is a place to disconnect and just simply enjoy life!

Fabio is an excellent host. We arrived in a late flight and he was up to receive us with a smile!
He has also done up the place really cute. We would highly recommend this for a stay around Aguadilla.

Amazing
In spite of a few hiccups, we are incredibly thankful for Fabio’s patience, hospitality, and complete understanding of our situation. The cottage we stayed in was an absolute mesmerizer! Very dreamy place <3 All I need now is another reason to go back :) Many thanks to Fabio!
