Fascinating town but the cottage did not really live up to its description.

We had a wonderful time staying in this magical cottage. It was lovely and cosy. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need and more. One of the windows from the kitchen looks over the lovely natural wild garden and it was lovely being able to sit in the garden in the evenings, watching the birds and other wildlife. The cottage and the surrounding area was lovely and quite. Trevor our host, was very helpful and responded to any questions we had very quickly, which was a massive help. The cottage is also five minutes walk to The Glen (Pittencrieff Park), which is a beautiful park. The rail station is a 30 minute walk and the bus station is around a 10 minute walk from the Cottage. We would definitely come back and stay at this magical cottage.

Had a really lovely stay, the cottage in really close to Dunfermline centre and the Glen, so everything this was close to hand and at easy reach. The cottage was very comfortable and welcoming, with free wifi, which we took advantage off. I found everything was very clean with fresh towels all folded and waiting for us on our arrival. The weather was fortunately really nice on our weeks stay which made our holiday perfect. I would recommend staying in this cottage to anyone that is visiting/staying in Dunfermline. The cottage was well equipped for our family of five. We enjoyed our stay in Scotland and it was a pleasant place to rest our heads at the end of a busy day of exploring.
