Still known as "the Luckiest Fishing Village", destin has become much more than that, offering great variety in terms of lodging, dining, and nightlife. 'BABS BEACH 2' , is a premium condo on the 14th floor. What a fabulous view!. Right on the beach with an unobstructed view! Tile floors throughout. You can have your morning coffee on the balcony and look at the sugar white sandy beach and the brilliant aquamarine water. See the sunrise, watch the dolphin play, see pelicans dive, and the manatee swim. Look left and look beach, beach!! AND OF COURSE......WIFI!! One master bedroom and twin bunk beds in the hall. Pull out couch with a queen bed for any extra persons. Master bedroom has a king bed and a private bath with a tub and shower. Second full bath with a walk in shower is off the hall. Master bedroom has a flat screen t. As well as a flat screen tv in the living area. Living area has sliding screen doors to the balcony. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean! The updated kitchen is fully equipped. Just bring the chef! The dining area seats 4 and the two bar stools add two more quests. The loving area is quite spacious with floor length mirrors to enhance the view! All the comforts of home! Arrival is easy! No waiting to check in. Go right to the elevator to the 14th floor. There is an electronic lock with a numeric code. I will provide the code as your dates approaches. Don't worry about loosing your keys at the beach. For security no one has the code but you! The code changes with each guest and will change when you leave. So take everything when you leave. You won't be able to get back in!

Beautiful view! Even better than I’d imagined! Great condo with great space/layout! We enjoyed the resort and liked the variety of pools, cafe, and tiki bar. Would love to come back to the same condo for future vacations! Perfect getaway for our family! We didn’t want to leave!

Very clean. The shower in the master bathroom needs to be replaced. Too many rules. There must be 8 signs of what you can not do. The view from the balcony is gorgeous.

Great view of the Gulf from the balcony and the condo was very nice. It did have a damp, musty feel when we first arrived but after the AC ran for a bit that did get better. We also had neighbors who smoked on their balcony which was frustrating. The rented chairs take up the first rows of the entire beach in Destin so if you want a view of the ocean make sure to rent in advance.

Great communication with owner. She was very nice and responsive. The condo is dated and little things could be done to make it amazing. But with a location like this I can understand why you would need to to get it rented. For example, replace shower curtain liner as there was mold. Sheets had a hole and had been patched. We were given only half a sample dish soap bottle and one dishwasher pod. But it was still great. We tried to vacuum during our stay but the vacuum didn’t work. Pillows were great. There are different ones so you can choose, lots of beach equipment so you don’t have to buy anything, I would add an umbrella since the listing doesn’t come with umbrella and chair service. Overall we had an awesome trip and enjoyed our stay.

Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Clean and in a centralized location. Beautiful beach view. Resort restaurant had amazing pizza!! Tiki bar piña coladas are a must have! Has two large pools. Highly recommend.

Loved this property-the owner was very responsive and accurate. This vacation was just my husband and I, but this property is perfect size for a family of four. It’s very clean and up to date. Tight security in the building so we felt very safe. Of course, pristine private beach and great access! Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

The minute we walked into this condo, we found it to be pleasant and very comfortable. The view of the gulf from the balcony was amazing as we daily enjoyed our morning coffee and evening beverages. The location was great, close to grocery stores and great restaurants. The only disappointment we had was they were painting the property and one of the pools was closed. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This was our first time at Pelican Beach. Loved the different pool options, close beach access and the Tiki Bar. The condo was clean and welcoming. The views from the balcony were amazing! We had a great time!

While my boyfriend and I were impressed with the ocean view this beachfront condo offered, we we shocked at how dated and in poor condition the furnishings and decor were inside the condo. The furniture throughout has been lives on hard and needed updating. Two of the four cheap chairs on the balcony had holes in the seating. There was also no internet tv option so, we watched a movie together on our laptop. The clientele at The Pelican Resort was pretty rough as well. There was a young man wearing an ankle monitor in our first elevator ride up to the condo. We frequently smelled pot when walking around the resort or when in the parking deck. The hairdryer in the owner’s suite didn’t work and was attached to the wall. I imagine this resort used to be very nice but overall seemed run down, as was this condo.

Enjoyable stay except for the smell of marijuana coming from different areas, and the Security Guard couldn’t find where the smell was coming from. They were more worried about towels hanging on balcony.. Security instead of doing their job were at the bar drinking instead of working

Highly disappointed in the setup on the beach due to all the rentable chairs and umbrellas only allowing family’s to be at the very back, far away from the water. Also disappointed only umbrellas are allowed for coverage rather than beach sun shelters or tents. Umbrellas don’t provide enough coverage for small children to play for an extended period of time. It’s sad to go on a beach vacation and only spend 2-3 hours on the beach due to this issue

My family includes 3 kids stayed at this location and it was nothing less than perfect! The room was beautiful! The views were breathtaking. We will definitely be stay here again our next trip. The owner was very quick to respond which was so nice and helpful. My family and I can’t wait to visit again. 10/10 recommend staying here.
