Nestled in Sussex County, this attractive house for $855 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to Vitamin Sea! Located in the quiet Cape Shores community, the four bedrooms, 3.5-bath home is a quick 4-minute walk to the Cape Shores Beach, Pool*, Fishing Pier, and Pickleball / Tennis Courts. You never have to leave the neighborhood or cross a busy street to access all that Vitamin Sea has to offer. Take your vacation in this large, open floor plan home in the Cape Shores community of Lewes Beach. With four bedrooms and a family room, you can comfortably sleep 8 to 10 with plenty of privacy. The multi-level home offers a bit of something for everyone. A large family room from the kitchen will be perfect for family gatherings or card games. Or take a few steps up to the TV room, which is the perfect spot for quiet reading or relaxing on the couch. The bedrooms on the upper and lower floors are all wonderfully set up and comfortable. Lower Level - Queen Bedroom with a bathroom en suite with shower/tub combo. Main Level - Kitchen, Living Room, Half Bath, & Primary Bedroom (King Bedroom with bathroom en suite with shower & tub), elevated Family Room with TV & pull-out couch. Upper Level - Queen Bedroom, (2) Twin Bedroom, Full Bath Outside - Front Porch (Covered), Back Porch (Screened), Back Deck, Outdoor Shower The front porch is perfect for evening chats, and the back deck offers a view of the pond and seating for six on the screened porch or eight on the deck. There is plenty of outside living! Lewes has installed a bike path one block behind Vitamin Sea. Hop on your bike (or use our supplied beach cruisers), and you can ride into town or cut through the Cape Henlopen State Park to get to Rehoboth. Cape Henlopen State Park features Atlantic Ocean access, surf fishing, and miles of running, walking, and biking trails. Additionally, the home provides tremendous amenities: (10) beach chairs, (3) camping chairs, a beach wagon for all of your gear, a rolling beach cooler, (5) beach cruisers**, canoe**, (2) kayaks**, stand up paddle board**, corn hole boards, and more games to make packing easier. Additionally, there is a booster chair, Graco pack & play, and a city mini single stroller for traveling with kids. Since we purchased the home in 2018, many upgrades: - new beds (2018) - new Weber grill (2019) - new kitchen appliances (2021) - new pots & pans, outdoor furniture (2023) Downtown Lewes is filled with top-notch restaurants, wonderful shopping, and a quaint family feel. This home is lovingly cared for by owners Sean & Erin and the top cleaning company in the area. *Pillows, blankets and bath mats are provided - sheets and towels are not provided. Pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. ** Use at your own risk.

The house is truly a beautiful vacation home! It’s everything that my family wanted - well designed/organized, access to beach and community club pool plus all fun amenities such as bikes, beach chairs, family games! I just feel bad for the owners that I have to give a 4-star on cleanliness because of wrongdoings by previous renters that was not caught by inspection prior to our arrival. The dishwasher was smelly and was not unloaded. The grill was dirty and we could not open the valve to get the fire started. There were instructions on all of these but previous renters did not follow.

We had a great time staying at the house. It's close to the pool and the beach. The included bikes and equipment are excellent and such a nice addition.

This house is well appointed, comfortable, convenient to bay and state park beaches, as well as Lewes and beyond. It has the best equipped kitchen of any beach house we've ever stayed in! It nicely tucked in among trees, but just steps from the pool, with view over a pond from the kitchen and porches. And it comes with beach chairs, bikes, and even a wagon, which saved us space when packing. We loved every minute at Vitamin Sea!

We bsolutely loves staying at Vitamin Sea! The house was beautiful and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and has both the bay and pool. There was plenty of space to relax. There are several decks and a lovely screened in porch to spend time on. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials you'd need to cook.
We had such a nice time and can't wait to come back!

Very comfortable house for our large group/family of 10 including an infant and toddler. Loved the screened in porch and deck with grill. Made for great family dinners. Location excellent- near pool and bay beach and close to Cape Henlopen Park with trails and Ocean beach. Owner very accessible if needed. Kitchen well stocked with appliances/dishes/pots. A bit tough to bring linens- sheets and towels and shampoo/soap, but will be easier if repeat stay. Appreciated stuff for infant like booster seat and portacrib. Official checkin and checkout times tight but appreciated flexibility when feasible. Overall, fun time for beach getaway with family and we are considering repeat stay!

We could not have asked for a more perfect house or community for our family getaway. 6 adults and 2 toddlers all had a blast! From the calm, quiet beach to the beautiful pool, everything was wonderful! Thank you, Cape Shores!

We were the first rental for the house this season. Not surprisingly there were a few hiccups, but Erin worked very hard to get things resolved so we could enjoy our stay in Lewes which we did. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. The location is good being in the Cape Shores neighborhood. It's obvious she cares about her home and her renters experience while staying there which we appreciated. We would stay there again if we come back to Lewes in the future.

We recently rented this house in Lewes, DE for a long weekend getaway with our friends and our children. One of the major advantages of the house was its proximity to a private beach. It made it incredibly convenient for our families with young children to access the beach without any hassle. We appreciated not having to travel far to enjoy the sun, sand, and waves.
The house was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. Additionally, the presence of a Weber grill was a nice touch and allowed us to have enjoyable cookouts. The screened-in porch provided a lovely space where we could relax, enjoying the beautiful view of the pond nearby. The rental also included beach equipment and bikes, which added an extra element of fun for both the adults and the kids.
A few things to note, though. With only one dish washer pod provided, we had to purchase additional pods to ensure we could clean all our dishes properly. Because replacement trash bags were not provided, we had to purchase additional bags. While we were aware of having to bring our own towels and linens prior to our arrival, it still added an extra level of preparation and packing for our trip. It would have been a nice touch to have basic toiletries like shampoo and conditioner available, especially for guests who were traveling from a distance or simply preferred not to bring their own.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and created lasting memories.

Loved the cape shores community! The beach is not crowded and so relaxing. Vitamin sea is in a great location to the pool, loved the beach decor in the house and the high ceilings. Utilized the amenities provided such as the crab baskets, beach tent, kayak, bikes and paddle board. Loved how close the property is to the state park. We fell in love with lewes, cape shores, and vitamin sea!

A wonderful week in Lewes
My family loved our stay at Vitamin Sea! The house felt clean and spacious. We loved the close proximity to the community pool and enjoyed walking the pier at sunset. We prefer to drive in to Cape Henlopen to enjoy the beach, but morning walks on the bay are nice. We utilized the beach chairs available at the house which was nice to not have to lug ours from home and also enjoyed riding the bikes around the neighborhood. Beds are comfortable and we all slept great! Be sure to check out Fort Miles and the museum. Really neat! Communication with Erin was wonderful. We hope to stay again in the future! Perfect Beach House
This was our second year at Vitamin Sea. It is the perfect beach house. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The screened porch was great for playing family games and eating dinner. We enjoyed using the new crock pot and waffle iron. Our daughter and son-in-law took the kids for two early morning kayak rides, and dolphins came up close to visit them each time. We are looking forward to returning next year!

lovely, comfortable and highly equipped home
this home measures up to its description. Home is very spacious, lovely decorated with high quality art, comfortable furniture, comfortable beds (and I'm very picky about beds being firm yet soft). Loved the screened in porch and front decks for lounging. Tv's in every room; lots of games and books. Used the kayaks and paddle board and bikes. Kitchen well equipped. Owner very responsive. Hope to stay here again next 2023.

Neihborhood is quiet and safe. House is cute and cozy, great for small group of 5-6 people. Walking to beach is dirty and smelly. You have to drive 5 min to get to good beach. Wifi is weak and needs attention. Internet is not reliable. Cell is weak also. . Restaurant in area aren’t great but their is a lot of places for bicycling. We stayed 3 full days and was enough for this location.

Pretty Nice
The house was very nice/clean and in a very nice neighborhood. When they say a 3 min walk to beach they meant bay and we did not want to swim in it but the pier was very cool, escpecially if you like to fish! Bring your stuff. Check out time is way too early. The beds upstairs had all types of issues. The queen bed in the top floor was indented in the middle making the couple roll toward each other all night. The two twins in the other room upstairs were not stable on their bases. The umbrellas that they provide for the beach are broken so if that is important to you then bring your own. Make sure you read all the rules before you book. There are a couple a that were stressing my friends out. It seemed like there were too many cleaning requirements to fulfill to have a cleaning person coming after. The hostess was great tho and seemed very nice.

Cape Shores Complete Package
This spot has everything. Easy access to the ocean, easy access to the bay, lovely pool. The house has many accessories that we’ve never seen in other places we’ve rented. Not just chairs and umbrellas but kayaks and games. The bonus room is a beautiful library. Erin was very helpful and supportive during our stay.

Great family house
Vitamin Sea was a perfect vacation house for us! It was spotless, very well furnished and had sooo many extras! We made use of the bikes, kayaks, beach chairs and wagon, Giant Jenga, corn hole game, etc. The kitchen was just like being home, everything we needed was there. Lots of parking and walking distance to the pool and beach and Cape Henelopen is right next door! Definitely recommend Vitamin Sea without hesitation!

Love this house
This was our sixth year in Lewes, and this is the perfect house for us. It was very clean, the neighbors were quiet, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife in the pond. We are returning next year.
