About this apartment rental
Elegant 90 m² (969 sq ft) apartment on the 1st floor of a former monastery in the heart of Lucca’s historic center, on prestigious Via Fillungo, the city’s street for boutiques, wine bars and restaurants. Recently renovated in the style of the historic Tuscan noble apartments, with exposed beams and a lively contemporary touch: quiet, fresh and bright all day.
THE SPACE
• 3 bedrooms (two with a double bed, one with two single beds) with large wardrobes: sleeps 6
• The apartment spans two floors: the third bedroom (two single beds) is on the upper floor.
• 2 bathrooms with shower, bidet and hair dryer
• Large living room with Smart TV and free Wi-Fi, dining table and desk
• Fully equipped kitchen: oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee/tea maker, kettle, toaster
• Washing machine, iron and ironing board

LOCATION
The city walls, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, Palazzo Pfanner and the Basilica of San Frediano are a 2-minute walk away; Piazza Napoleone is 6 minutes. Rent a bike for a ride on the Walls, with their 11 bastions among the trees. Cafés, restaurants and wine bars are right at your door. Lucca train station is a 14-minute walk and the bus stop at Piazzale Verdi is 5 minutes away.

Great apartment right in the heart of Lucca. It was bright with lots of windows that created a great cross breeze. Amazing price for such a central location. No parking within the walls for unloading our luggage but Stefano gave us a link to a parking we could park for free. It was about a 12 minute walk from the parking to the apartment. As a heads up the room with the two twin beds is up a set of narrow stairs and the ceiling in that room was a bit low. Overall we would highly recommend!

Fantastic apartment and a perfect fit for six adults. The location was incredible — right in the heart of Lucca. The host was wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful throughout our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I can’t speak highly enough of this apartment or the hosts. On our arrival, our party was delayed by about 5 hours, but Francesca was still able to meet us when we arrived.The apartment is a converted momentary, and the interior really is stunning. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are lovely, and the whole apartment is light and airy. The kitchen has all the facilities you would need to prepare a meal (although we didn’t get around to it as the nearby restaurants are so good!).It’s very centrally located, and overlooks one of the main shopping streets, so everything you could want is on your doorstep.The only slight drawback is that no aircon means that had to have the windows open to stay cool, and the street nose can be quite loud until about 1am; and the street sweepers can give you an early wake up call! After the first night though, I slept straight through! I would definitely stay again and recommend!
