The apartment allowed us to stay in a nice, non-touristic neighborhood near family. Subway access was easy and one day we walked back to the apartment from central Paris which was quite nice and not difficult. The additional space which you would not get in a standard hotel was really helpful with two teenage boys as was the ability to use the kitchen when we were tired and did not want to go out.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Very Parisian flat with lovely little balcony. Great area and easy to get to from metro.

The host was very accommodating (early check in etc.) and responded to communication quickly. The apartment is stylish, located in a nice neighborhood, and close to a metro stop. To improve, I recommend they buy new pillows, declutter, and leave instructions about how to operate the appliances. Overall I recommend this apartment.

The location was delightful. The price was right. The apartment was serviceable. The rooms were adequate. But they lack places to set or store our clothes, and personal items.
The host indicated that he should have supplied a manual to instruct us on how to operate the combination washer/dryer. We finally did figure it out, but it was a bit of a challenge. The listing said two bathrooms. It’s actually two 1/2 baths: a toilet in one room, and a shower and sink in another room. We made do, but that was not what we had anticipated.
We also wished there was dishwasher soap. One couple didn’t like their bed with the rail around ½ of the bed.

The building and apartment itself is full of period character, and the water pressure is great. However, there were a number of things that needed fixing including a broken freezer (so no chance of ice in the 30 degree weather), non functioning dishwasher, clothes rack in one bedroom was missing a bolt and fell apart, missing key kitchen utensils, pillows inadequate, but the most concerning issue was that the shower seems to be a home for both flies and fleas. We killed between 3 and 6 per day in the 13 days we stayed there.
Our expectation was that the place be thoroughly cleaned before we arrived and that doesn’t appear to have been the case, which is why we gave it only one star for cleanliness.

Great stay

My 2 friends and I stayed for 3 nights and this apartment was a good fit for us. Very clean, nicely decorated and good location, lots of little restaurants and markets nearby. Walking distance to the Porte de Versailles expo center (we attended the Paris Animal Show for the 100 year celebration of the Sacred Birman cat breed.) Nicolas was very helpful when I had questions, and quick to reply! There's one thing that could be clarified on the VRBO description: there is a washing machine, but the dryer is not a typical clothes dryer. It's more of a large heated fan, in the living room, and clothes must be hung over a drying rack with the fan directed at it. (It does the job, but it takes much longer to dry a load of clothes than a tumble dryer.) This might be typical in Paris, but visitors might appreciate knowing what to expect. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Very close to amenities, a lovely neighborhood and the apartment had everything you need for your stay plus beautiful period features!

The owner was wonderful. extremely helpful.
We are 6 in the group. The apartment is good for four.
The beds really need to be more comfortable with better mattresses and good pillows. The couch was not comfortable at all. So the kids really suffered.

I suggest the owner to stay, as experience, 24 hours , 5 persons, in this appartment; the kitchen has not table, is more like a storage place ; the rooms have not wardrobes, the parquet floor creaks very loudly due to its age. These are, in our oppinion, the items what need to be improuved. Thank you.

The property is very cute with lots of character. The place was clean and had all the essentials. Would have loved better pillows and a tv, but overall a great place for a nice stay.

Lots of space and everything we needed. Close to Metro for getting around. Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. Everything accessible while being in an area that's not overly busy.

The apartment was nice. Beds comfy. Kitchen was fairly well equipped. Don’t plan on cooking big meals, it’s good for coffee and heating meals. Neighborhood was great, tons of brassiere and Boulanger right around the corner. Super ease access to the metro and getting around the city. I would stay there again.

The property was just as described and shown in the pictures. Nicolas was very responsive and we had a great stay!

Generally was a good location. Short walk to metro. Groceries and restaurants close. Older building with character.
Seating and carpets, bed pillows need a refresh.

Just the feel we were looking for. After carrying our bags up to the second floor we were greeted with a welcome bottle of wine which we enjoyed on the cute balcony. There were lots of restaurants and markets nearby. At least a 20 minutes metro ride away from all the big tourist sites. Just the perfect size for me, my husband and 2 teenage daughters.

Working with Nicholas was excellent and he was super friendly and helpful! The advertised air conditioning is an air conditioning stand-alone unit that wasn’t installed. We had to leave the door open for it to work. The place is definitely dated as would be expected in Paris and had a few minor issues like no counter space for cooking and a floor under the couch that would cause splinters if exposed. All this being said, I would stay again, but not in the middle of the summer perhaps. Maybe not the best for smaller children but our kids were a little older so we could keep them from the treacherous stuff. Also needed to Google the washing machine to figure out how it worked because the 12 cycle options had no explainer in any language.

We came as a family (2 girls ages 11 and 9) to explore Paris. This was my husband’s and my 4th time to the city, but we had never stayed in the 15th arrondisement. The apartment was just as the pictures show-beautiful and full of character. The terrace was a real high point for us, and we used it often for morning coffee, a late afternoon glass of wine, my daughters’ enjoyment of the view. The apartment itself was very comfortable (even during the crazy heatwave!), very well outfitted with everything one needs, and a very short walk to a boulangerie, pharmacy, grocery store, the Metro stop! As a family it was perfect! Being really close to the Convention metro station, and along the 12 Metro line, we found it very handy in getting places, often times never having to change trains more than once. With kids this is important. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a great fit for our family of five. I've lived in large cities and know the premium of space, so it's exactly what I expected. It may seem tight to people who aren't used to it :)
The balcony was a great spot for morning tea and pastries. It was very convenient to have a washer/dryer. Good location for hopping on public transportation. We walked right into a great neighborhood market on the weekend. Nicolas' apartment was the perfect place for us to stay and explore Paris.

Great communication from the start. Walk everywhere. A number of restaurants and shops near by. Both bedrooms are decent size. Kitchen small- but to be expected. Happy to return!

I will absolutely recommend this location and host in the future.

This flat is close to the Metro, which you will be using if you want to get to any of Pars’ attraction. It however, doesn’t take long to get to where you need to go. The flat is a good size, toilet is in a separate room from the shower and sink, the light you get in the flat by the two big windows is fantastic! We have stayed at several VRBO properties, this is a nice budget friendly property, that is obviously used by its owners, when not booked, so keep in mind, it is not a hotel, which we didn’t mind at all. The kitchen is tight and there wasn’t a traditional table and chairs to have our breakfast, but again we made due, we were not there to be in the flat all day, it again was not a major issue. The cleanliness was average, and was well stocked with extra toilet paper, paper towel and even a few mini toiletries! We even used the washer/ dryer combo to do a load of laundry, we had to use youtube to help us figure out how to use it, as there was no instructions provided. Again something we could work out ourselves, no need to contact the host. The host was easy to get ahold of, but we had no real reason to besides informing of our arrival (which was accommodating of an early check out) and when we left the property. We would stay again, the area was nice to get a few groceries and wine, it was perfect to come back at the end of our tours to a quiet area, but it is a bit out of the way if your looking to be close to the famous spots.

Staying at Nicolas’ place in the 15th was fantastic. For our family of four (two tweens never having been to Paris), we immediately felt like locals. With a short walk to the 12 Metro at Convention, we were both immersed in the city, yet removed from a tourist’s idea of it. Blocks of open markets with everything imaginable were around the corner, superb patisseries and wine shops were blocks away, and an incredible meal awaited us at Le Murier across from the apartment. And nothing beat morning coffee and croissants from the terrace! The second-floor walk-up was beautiful, with artistic décor. Having a washer/dryer and kitchen were wonderful—some of our best moments were the family eating at home from produce, cheese, and fish bought at the local markets. Nicolas was a gracious host and provided great suggestions for food. He even had a little Xmas tree set up & Santa visited us in Paris! Thank you Nicolas!

Apartment was outstanding in a great location near a subway station. If visiting in the summer, make sure you are familiar with operating portable AC unit if you have never owned one. We visited during the much reported heat wave and the AC unit did a great job keeping the room cool.

My co-worker and I rented this apartment for the Premiere Classe show and we could not have been happier. We loved spending time on the balcony after the show days and enjoying the lovely Paris summer weather. Thank you for a lovely visit!
