Highly recommended for group/family trip

The apartment was spacious, proper facilities provided ie washing machine, dryer, microwave, comfortable beds.

The stairs was quite steep, and the bidet in the master bedroom was faulty

Nice getaway in the middle of town

The hotel was literally diagonally across KOMTAR. Strategic place as many eateries were within walking distance. The entire floor was huge and the necessary amenities were provided including detergent for clothes and dishes. The initial fear was noises from the main street was not as bad as expected. Where I lived is way worse. Everything was clean and the living area is a nice hangout place for the entire family to gather around watching TV while enjoying each others company. The staff who came to clean was polite and courteous. Advice to whatsapp the property ahead of time as the centralised PHC hotel lobby was not opened on the day we arrived. Luckily they were prompt to answer the message and helpful to arrange a staff to guide us to keep the luggage while roam around Georgetown first waiting for check-in. The check-in process was done in the room itself and the staff was a jolly fellow. Everything was brought in his backpack and he brought us around introducing the rooms and the amenities. A nice hotel to go to for those with larger families as the staff did mentioned the room we paid for can house up to 10 people.

No on location parking. May be tad a bit noisy for those light sleepers.

The flooring needs to be replaced and master room toilet lights need to be brighter.

Good value for money ! Excellent

Clean and spacious. Near food and Chowrasta market. Very convenient. All my friends loves it so much.

Some tiles in the sitting room popping up. No proper pickup point/ waiting bay.

my family really had a good stay.

just be adventurous and try food at the coffee shops nearby. a mall nearby is very convenient. this location is walkable to many tourist attraction. Best for people who likes to explore georgetown. many surprises. My children love the space in the apartment.

Nice place to staycation with your friends and family

The place is clean, spacious and modern. It's easy to hang out with friends and family together in the house style hotel.

The location is just next to the busy road. But we didn't mind the noise from the street.

Superb

Great location within walking distance to various attractions. Modern facilities. Bonus of a washing machine when travelling with an infant. Powerful air conditioning throughout the spacious apartment.

the location, the big spacious suite . the kitchen facilities, with washing machine and dryer.

difficulty in finding the hotel as there was no hotel lobby. no parking lots. steps to go up the the suite .especially carrying big luggage is a challenge.

Family trip review

Spacious and clean, nearby to hot-spot areas and good customer service.

However its hassle for parking and the entrance with staircase without safety close not safe for kids, need to constantly watch.

Excellent city location. Saw the Chingay Parade right outside our window. The facility is very spacious with natural light coming in at the middle.

Long flight of steps with no lift makes it difficult for an elderly customer. No places for guest to park. Traffic outside the hotel is heavy so pick-ups and drop-offs are very difficult.

Definitely will return

Everything! Despite the stairs, I actually really like that I can walk straight down to street level. And surprisingly my toddlers were naturally wary of the stairs and kept a big berth from it. Location is great and near eateries.

Nothing much, except it'll probably be more environmentally friendly to use liquid hand soap instead of bar soap.

I had a really good time time in Penang. The stay at Magazie Vista will be memorable.

We had to phoned the appart as we were stuck in the traffic coming from KL, we had an eight hour journey, with a transit and lunch at Ipoh. They send someone to welcome us and have the check-in procedures, this guy was really professional, his name is Firman, he comes from Penang. He has a good follow up during our stay and was always eager to help, really appreciate his devotion to his work. Once we had climbed the stairs, we were quite impressed by the apartment. It was so clean and well maintained, the aircon working perfectly. The apart was ready when we arrived , did not have to wait. A spacious living room, with a table and chairs for all of our six members. Sofas and a nice TV set, with Netflix..... we could watch music video on Youtube. The kitchen has all the required necessities, a large refrigerator, washing machine with dryer which surprised us by its quality. Facilities for cooking available.. The rooms were also very clean, with large beds and clean linen. The bathrooms were also clean and really well designed. The Location is ok, quite near to various attractions, but it was sad to note that the shopping malls have been hit by the COVID, there was many shops closed and the maintenance also has suffered. Apart for 1st Avenue, the other malls were quite deceptive. Another plus side of the location is the presence of a covenience shop, offering quite a large variety of goods, even alcohol products, just 10 (ten) mts from the apart and below (at ground floor level) you have to eat at the Shusis hotel and the different Mamak ( selling local foods, so delicious). There are so many places for foods at any time of the day and I felt secured for my family. The best place for shopping is by far at Gurney, yes it is at a higher level, even for the night markets. Concerning transport I must say that it is so easy to use Grab. Bus also is ok. Overall the apart ( 3 bedrooms ) was a very good choice for my first visit in Penang. I look forward for my next visit.

The apart itself is very good, but there is a need to improve its look from outside, mainly at ground level some work is needed to give a better look to the entrance of the different apartments. I would also suggest that the management have a look at the floor, near the sink in the kitchen, which is a bit damaged. Its not so serious , but it must be repaired before it worsen. Some more lights at the entrance of the apart would also be welcomed. But overall, I maintain this is a very good apartment for a large family. .

Excellent location, complete amenities basically you only need to bring your luggage

Floors need to be sweep and mopped on daily basis otherwise it will get sticky. Pls provide rice cooker next time

The stairs - imagine 4 senior ladies going up and down the stairs with their suitcases! Thankfully the hotel staff helped with the bags upon our check-in and checkout.
