This was just such a perfect base in Bogotá. It is just minutes from the main square, the museums and loads of nice cafes and restaurants. But it is set back from the road so it is quite quiet. It has a kitchen and a living room so you can really feel at home. Fernanda was amazingly kind and helpful and made me feel so welcome and comfortable which is so nice when you are travelling alone! I am so pleased that I stayed here for the last days of my trip as it really meant I ended my trip to Colombia on a high.
It is a little difficult to find - I wouldn’t recommend arriving at night if you are on your own.

L’emplacement est idéal au cœur de la Candelaria mais préservé du bruit de la rue car en retrait, au fond d’une cour/jardin.
Grand lit confortable. Cuisine à disposition mais aussi bars à proximité immédiate pour prendre le petit déjeuner

Posizione top nel cuore della Candelaria , struttura accogliente e pulita con un bel giardino oasi di pace . La camera è grande e il letto comodissimo , il bagno ha una doccia grandissima con un grande getto e acqua calda.
Il pavimento di legno scricchiolante è la mancanza di un mobile in più come appoggio .

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal! Fernanda ist die beste Gastgeberin der Welt. Sie hat uns super umsorgt. Wir durften auch nach Check-Out das Haus nutzen. Fernanda schenkte uns Obst und Pflanzen und bestellte uns ein günstiges Taxi zum Flughafen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und für die Lage sehr ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist sehr hochwertig. Die Küche super ausgestattet. Es gibt auch Kaffee und Tee.
Das WLAN könnte etwas besser sein. Der Eingang ist schwer zu finden. Weil man hinter dem Tor keine Unterkunft erwartet.

C’est une GuestHouse incroyable, on se sent comme à la maison, la cuisine est top super moderne la salle à manger spacieuse le coin détente très familiale une petite courette intérieure qui nous accueille quand on a envie de prendre l’air un joli jardin et un grand merci à Osiris notre hôte qui a été merveilleux avec nous tout le temps est très à l’écoute! Et surtout une situation incroyable à deux pas de musée Botero de tous les monuments historiques de la vieille ville des restaurants tout autour super et pas très chers! Les chambres sont très confortable la salle de bain très moderne tout est extrêmement propre un coin hamac quand on a envie de se reposer. C’est une maison où on se sent comme chez soi!

Everything. I arrived late evening after a long flight from Madrid. I was greeted by Fernanda, who welcomed me, showed the shared spaces and then my room. The room was very large, comfortable, clean and well furnished. The communal areas are quaint and cozy and the kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The guest house is well located to the centre and it sits in a vibrant area and street. Fernanda was really helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This was definitely a great place to stay and would highly recommend the guest house for those who are seeking a calm oasis. Thanks Reena

The house is modern, clean, cozy and very well located.
Being able to use filtered water and tea as you like it’s a nice perk.
My bed was VERY comfortable and I slept very well. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, despite the central location.
The house wouldn’t be that fantastic if if Fernanda was not there! She is an amazing host, super friendly and kind. She made me feel like home and gave me the greatest recommendations to enjoy my time in Bogota. Definitely would go again and highly recommend to others

C'est tout simplement parfait sur tout les points! Un en endroit parfait pour découvrir Bogota et son vieux quartier charmant. Restaurants bars sympas a côté. Musée Botero juste à côté (somptueux) accueil vraiment hyper sympa toujours prête à vous rendre service Fernanda est adorable. La maison est agréable et confortable, calme...aucun défaut!

A perfect place to stay, at the heart of Bogotá's historical downtown! Lovely host (Álex), cozy room and a superb hot shower! It's my second time at the guest house, and I'm sure I'll always return back!

The location, the cleanliness and the room were perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the common areas were welcoming and well kept. Mari the cat (“La Gordis”) was very cute.
The only slight downside was the communication with the host in English that wasn’t always very clear. Also, the host played loud music from the living room. At times, it felt more like we were roommates than guests.

Our stay was great! Cristian was the perfect host to us, he recommended some restaurants in the area and in the check out date we were able still to get a shower as we had a late bus to catch. I’d definitely recommend it!!!

We had a really nice stay in this beautiful small guest house. The rooms are quite big and the bathrooms were new. There is a kitchen where you can find everything you need. After a long trip getting to Bogotá it felt like an oasis The location is great. It's a save neighborhood where you can do a lot of things. The hosts are super friendly and make you feel at home.

lovely old building right in the centre of La Candelaria,
with modern finishes, an amazing kitchen and a lovely cat. very peaceful place to stay and felt incredibly safe and comfortable here. The host Juan was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. beds were also very comfortable!

a guest house at a very human scale with only a few rooms which makes it cosy. perfect location. on top of the the staff were super friendly and helpful !
there is no heating so at night it can be quite cold, so be sure to bring warm pyjamas

Several bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.
The room is clean and well equipped (beds are amazing).
The procedure of arrival is not 100% intuitive, the name is not indicated in the street and there is a closed gate before reaching the house.

We stayed for one night in this place in the heart of La Candelaria. The owner helped us around and was nice and welcoming. He even let us store our bags there for 2,5 weeks since we had a lot of winter clothes with us which we didn't need. The room was nice and comfy and the bathroom as well. There's a lot of bars and cafes nearby but the room itself is quiet. Great place!
The house had a bit of a cigarette scent, due to the smoking area being in an outside patio which is linked to the house.

Located in the heart of the Candelaria, this hotel is clean, quiet and has the best bedding of our stay in Colombia. Very good value for money at the time of our stay.

Very friendly host and great location. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We also liked we had an all-day acces to the kitchen to prepare ourselves some tea, coffee, or breakfast.
The rooms are quite noisy, but after 20.00 everyone was very quiet so that was not much of a problem. Also, if you are looking for a cute and cozy room, this stay may not be your best choice. But that's a matter of taste.
