Lovely, spacious apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Within walking distance to everything. Parking was also a breeze. Loved it! Easy communication with owners. Just one thing :-)--you need to put power behind your shoulder when you shove open the front door. Otherwise, you'll think you can't get in.

From the beginning we felt very comfortable in this nice apartment. The washing bassins are made for mammoths as they are very high but not in the kitchen. It was a bit loud from outside. To the beach of Vias plage it takes only 18 min.

Lovely apartment in a charming French Town
This was our second stay in Pezenas. Last year we stayed in the L'Apartment des Artistes No. 1 across the hall from this apartment (L'Apartment des Artistes No.2) and loved it so much we decided to come back again this year and spend our summer holiday. We were not disappointed. The apartment has every convenience and is extremely clean. The owners' paintings really liven everything up. Pezenas is the perfect place to base yourself to discover this area of France. Nimes, Perpignan, Carcassonne and Montpellier are all 1 hour or less away. Finally the owners place great emphasis on communication and checked in with us regularly. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Absolute gem of a place!
We were so lucky to find this lovely apartment in Pézenas! We needed a base for us and our two children during the week of our friends' wedding nearby. We had alot of plans each day but, unlike with a hotel room, felt like we had a proper home to return to later. Everything was lovely and clean and the personal touches, such as a bottle of wine and milk waiting in the fridge at check in, were much appreciated.
Communication from David and Holly prior to our trip was excellent. We arrived very late at night all tired from the flight and drive, but our very clear advice regarding parking and instructions on how to access the apartment made the whole process very easy! The only tricky thing was getting the luggage, pushchair and kids up to the second floor... Luckily my partner works out!
David and Holly had set up a cot for our 8 month old, which was very kind and meant one less thing to pack. All linen and towels were clean and comfortable, and we particularly loved the kitchen.
Just a heads up - the Spar downstairs appear to have a delivery at about 6am on a Tuesday, so a little noise from the trucks and trollies may give you an early alarm call... But other than that, its a nice quiet location, despite its close proximity to so many restaurants and shops.
We would highly recommend a stay here and David and Holly as hosts! Thank you again for a wonderful trip!!

Excellent Location, Superb Apartment
This is an immaculate apartment with more than enough room plus all of the amenities for a very comfortable stay. This apartment has superb ambience and location as it is adjacent to the old town centre of Pezenas and is just footsteps away from a daily historical exploration and the numerous artists and artisans. Fresh fruit and vegetable vendors, bakeries, butchers & charcuterie, fresh seafood, and cheese, numerous restaurants and cafes are moments away from the apartment entrance. The popular weekly Saturday Pezenas market is just around the corner. An excellent, comfortable apartment with a superb location to experience the "joie de vivre" in the south of France.

Excellent located in the middle of a medieval town. Steps from fabulous restaurants, coffeeshops and lovely ladies and fun shops... and a perfect location for “The Saturday Market.”
Was only my husband and I, but greatly appreciated the 2nd bedroom, while I had a sinus infection.
We didn’t have a car, but, didn’t stop us from visiting nearby beach town.
The bus depot was close enough that give us the opportunity to venture around without problem.
Plus the tourist information arrange some shows and a city tour guide for the days of our stay.

Perfection!
This is the perfect home away from home! The owners have done a wonderful job creating a space that welcomes all to experience a slice of "la belle vie". The apartment is large, well appointed and equipped, with the perfect balance of modern upgrades and artistic charm.
Everthing you could need - bakeries, fruit stand, market and restaurants- are within walking distance and nearby free parking is a bonus!
Pezanas is a fantastic place to use as a base to explore the region, but is also a town that is a great destination in itself. We loved our time in Pezanas so much that we extended our stay and moved across the hall to the owners' other apartment for a total stay of 8 days.
David and Holly are extremely helpful and attentive hosts and everthing from booking, to check in, to check out was a breeze.
Without hesitation, we would recommend this apartment!

CINQ ETOILES - SUPERBE!
Large apartment in the center of town, with many restaurants, grocery stores and shops nearby. The large Saturday market in Pezenas is just a few steps from the front door. The unit features high end appliances, including an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and clothes washer. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms kept the apartment cool. Free parking is a brief walk away. A great location for day trips to so many terrific places. The owners, David & Holly, are the most attentive property owners we have ever encountered! They provide excellent instructions and respond almost immediately to questions or comments. Five Stars - Superb!

Great apartment, great location!
The apartment is just as expected from the listing - bright, clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Check-in was simple, as was check-out, and the owners, David and Holly, kept in contact throughout our stay. Pezenas is a charming town, and very well located to explore this exquisite corner of France. There are lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We especially enjoyed the Creperie down the street, so good! I won't hesitate to recommend this rental to friends.

Wundervolle Wohnung mit französischem Flair
Es ist eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, in denen wir bisher unseren Urlaub verbracht haben.
In einer Seitenstraße im idyllischen Dorf Pezenas gelegen, begrüßt sie einen gleich mit französischem Flair. Die Einrichtung werde sehr gut durchdacht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail umgesetzt. Durch die großen Fenster gelangt viel Licht in die Zimmer und man wird Teil des bunten Treibens. Die Zimmer sind groß, das Bad neu, und alles äußerst sauber. Alle Möbelstücke sind hochwertig und in bestem Zustand, die Küche ist absolut top und vollständig ausgestattet. Viele Kochutensilien waren bereits vor Ort (neben Salz und Pfeffer auch Olivenöl, Balsamico, Kaffee, Tee, Kakao, eine Flasche Wein, Milch, etc.)
Holly und David, die Vermieter der Wohnung, waren super Gastgeber. Die gesamte Kommunikation war vorbildlich, sie haben uns super Tips gegeben und auf alle Fragen per Mail innerhalb kürzester Zeit geantwortet. Alle Anweisungen, Schlüsselübergabe, Parkhinweise, etc. waren top. Es wurden sogar Spielsachen für unsere kleine Tochter in der Wohnung deponiert.
Wir können das Apartment mit gutem Gewissen jedem empfehlen! Für uns war es ein toller Urlaub.
Zwei Punkte sind uns aufgefallen, die beachtet / verbessert werden könnten:
1. Wie in Südeuropa üblich, ist die Wohnung nicht besonders gut isoliert. Wir waren Anfang März dort und die sehr guten, neuen Elektroheizkörper mussten ordentlich arbeiten, um die Wohnung warm zu bekommen. Allerdings war es ein äußerst kalter März! Entlang der Autobahn lag bei unserer Anreise teilweise noch Schnee. Ab April sollte das kein Problem mehr sein.
2. Uns hat ein kleiner Ordner in der Wohnung gefehlt, in dem alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung, Restaurant, Läden und Besonderheiten näher erläutert sind. Es gibt Informationen zur Wohnung selbst, aber wenig zum Ort. David hatte uns eine Mail mit Hinweisen geschickt und im Apartment gibt es ein Regal mit Reiseführern. Aber wir haben das bei Urlauben in GB sehr zu schätzen gelernt, wenn die Gastgeber diese Informationen in einem Ordner zusammenstellen.

Fantastic location, great apartment, wonderful amenities
We stayed a week in David and Holly's Pezenas apartment last September 2017 and really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, close to the town centre and all the shops and restaurants yet quiet at night. Parking was easy at either of the two parking lots within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment is bright, very well equipped, comfortable, and clean with a nice atmosphere and character. The Pezenas Saturday market is a must see, but make sure you park your car the night before and don't plan on moving it Saturday as parking becomes crazy during the market. We did a number of day trips to vineyards, castles, medieval towns, beaches, and all are within easy reach by car. Restaurants are abundant in town with our favourites being La Pomme d'Amour for crepes or the salads at La Terrasse at lunch and Casa Lorca or Les Palmier for dinner. The big Carrefour has everything you need but we preferred to buy from the smaller local merchants who were all very nice to deal with (even with our terrible attempts at French). Our only suggestion for improvement would be to use a different mattress pad as the ones that were on the beds didn't "breathe" so we found them to be too hot for sleeping well.
We also want to say a special thanks to David and Holly who were so gracious in sharing tips for the area before our trip and for checking in with us during our stay to ensure all was good.
Overall, a great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Spacious, comfortable place in a great location!
Pézenas is a beautiful village, with this apartment just on the edge of the historic town--a pastry shop, a butcher, and a veggie seller all just out the front door. People are very friendly, and there is lots to do both in Péz and nearby. Our family spent a lovely new year together and with friends; we were able to cook a meal for 10 people as the kitchen is very well equipped, and the living space is so nice. The apartment has everything we needed - nice bedding, laundry facilities, internet, heating. It's a comfy, sunny place that makes your entire experience a good one!

What an experience!
We were impressed the minute that we saw the this cute apt in the south of France. It is tastefully decorated in every way. The apartment was well appointed. We loved it. It was very obvious that the owners are Artists. It had a wonderful location close to the historic old town. The Saturday Market was great and just steps from our door. We loved having such beautiful produce for all of October. The small boutiques with local artists and products were friendly and of high quality.
We stayed a month and made overnight or day trips to many places, including the Mediterranean , Carcassonne, Avignon and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Living in France for an extended period of time was such an interesting and educational experience. We loved it!

Elegant and spacious apartment. Great location in Pezenas!
The artist's touch made this apartment such a pleasure to stay in! It is a wonderful blend of historic property and modern amenities. It was extremely well equipped; it had everything we needed including wifi and we were very comfortable. The apartment was spacious and everything was spotless. We were welcomed with the owner contacting us to confirm we had everything we needed (thank you for the delicious bottle of local wine and your site seeing tips). We are traveling with our 2 boys who loved the lego!
Stepping right out the door into the fascinating and historic Pezenas, we shopped in the Saturday outdoor market for fresh fruit, vegetables and an amazing tapanade. The Spar corner market was right next to us for everything else!
The winding streets, delicious restaurants, cafes, patisseries and unique artisan shops made every turn captivating. The ice cream shops and the fragrant soap shop were some of our favorite stops.
This apartment was an amazing base to explore Pezenas and the surrounding area. We will definitely recommend this to our friends!

wonderful week in Pezenas
We have recently stayed at Les Artistes 2 in Pezenas. From the outset, the owners were very responsive and were able to help us out when our plans had to change from our original booking. Instructions for arrival at the apartment were clear, although driving in some of the narrow Pezenas streets was an adventure!
We found the apartment spacious, clean, well-equipped and as advertised. Although there is no air-conditioning, we found that using the provided pedestal fans and closing shutters during the day kept the apartment cool in the above 30 degree temperatures.
The location of the apartment is ideal. There is a small Spar supermarket on the corner and on the opposite corner was a wonderful traiteur who provided us with many ready made meals during our stay. There were a number of butchers, bakers and fruit and vegetable shops close by as well. The market on Saturdays is about 100 metres away.
Although parking is off site about 600 metres away, it is free and under surveillance camera. We did not mind this short and pleasant stroll.

Absolutely charming place
Recently we (a couple from Hamburg) enjoyed a 8-night-stay at Holly and Davids lovely, perfektly clean and cosy equiped apartment in Pezenas. The moment we entered the domicil, we loved it.
You only have to know that the apartment is in the 2. floor and there are several steps to negotiate. Though no Problem for us :-).
Pezenas as well is a beautiful and charming place with many small boutiques, "patisseries", restaurants ... For us it was what we had expected - in the best case.
If you like oysters you can enjoy them for a good price in the whole region. We loved driving to the beach of Grau d´Agde (approx. 20 minutes from Pezenas). In May we had the beach nearly for us, and one day we even could see the snowy mountains of the Pyrénées (200 km far away ...).
We can truly and fully recommend the apartment. David and Holly are lovely hosts, who really care for their guests. Thank you!!!

Come essere a casa - Like to be at home
Le indicazioni che David e Holly ci hanno dato sono state precise ed abbiamo raggiunto l'appartamento facilemente. Anche per il posteggio non ci sono stati problemi con quello gratuito a pochi minuti a piedi. Appena entrati nell'appartamento è stato subito come essere a casa. Tutto al posto giusto. La casa spaziosa, accogliente e pulita. Tutti gli accessori che servivano a portata di mano. Veramente ben fatta. Grazie!
La città di Pezenas è bella e tranquilla. Si gira a piedi in completo relax. Il clima in questi giorni è stato ottimo senza troppo caldo e senza pioggia.
Per noi è stata un'esperienza sicuramente positiva e da ripetere se ci sarà l'occasione.
Speriamo di incontrarvi di persona per ricambiare la bottiglia di vino e tutto il resto.

Very well located
The spacious and comfortable apartment is really well located for shops, cafés and restaurants. We took advantage of the Saturday market less than 2 mins stroll away to stock up on cheese and olives on the Saturday and spent many hours relaxing in Gambetta square just 5 mins walk into the old town drinking wine and watching the world go by. Too many tempting restaurants to try them all in the 5 nights we had. If you enjoy browsing arts and crafts you can spend hours wandering the historic streets and discovering some architectural gems that have been turned into artists studios. The free parking which is about 6-7 mins walk away is a pleasant stroll across town and very convenient. We took day trips out to the coast, the village of Moureze and to the canal du Midi in Bézier. All less than an hour's drive away making the apartment an excellent spot to base yourself. The apartment itself is spacious, light, very comfortable and well decorated. I have stayed at both of Holly and David's apartments and they are both comfortable and stylish - this new one is larger and more refined than the other. They make arranging your stay very easy with good communication, and as always there is a chilled bottle of local rose waiting for you. The town is as interesting as ever, and has enough to do to merit repeated visits. You can see a lot of interesting things, and then return to the wonderful apartment - it's well kitted out, the rooms are spacious and very tastefully appointed. We will be back!

This modernly renovated and timelessly decorated apartment located in the cozy town of Pezanas is a must visit! Close to Agde and many beaches. I was able to take in a Wine Festival and the local Saturday market - YUM. The town is filled with rich historical sites and many great shops.
