This is a beautiful building and the studio where I stayed was lovely. There were plenty of thoughtful touches, high quality items like the coffee machine and really good quality products for breakfast. I also appreciated the message from the hosts which was really informative on what there is to do locally, where to catch transport etc. This may sound odd, but I travel a lot and some places recently push you for great reviews or remind you about checkout etc well in advance, but the hosts here just left you to enjoy your stay - which I valued. However, they answered quickly and were very helpful when I contacted them.
The kitchen is very well equipped, but I felt it a shame there was no hot plate or microwave (that I could see - it may be that I missed this). I appreciate this is personal choice and there is a beautiful oven, but a hot plate (even a little plug in one) and this would have been the perfect place for me.

Everything about my stay at Villa 216 was exceptional. Even the tiniest details were considered. The room space was perfect, the restoration of the property was top notch. The Jura espresso maker in the room with coffee beans instead of the little pods that everyone else seems to use. The breakfast snacks and goodies in the room, the comfortable bed and pillows, the nice big rainfall showerhead and bath sheets instead of standard-sized towels, the water closet for privacy, the kitchenette, bathrobes, and even a tray for breakfast in bed. The Villa’s location and how it’s situated in the center of a large lot allows for peace and quiet at night. Everything was top quality and the service was exceptional and thought out as well. I didn’t think anyone did daily room cleaning and refreshing any more, but Villa 216 did. If there is a word better than exceptional I would use it to describe this place.
There was nothing to dislike.

A beautiful house. Great room, very comfortable bed. Parking. Good breakfast. Nice front garden. The weather was too hot to try the jacuzzi.
The villa stood alone amongst modern ugly buildings. Awkward to drive in because of the one way road and bus lane. A strange rule that stated you could not drink your own alcohol in the villa- you could buy their alcohol.

Quiet, nice ambience. Plenary space for parking. Very good mattress and pillows.
Breakfast is not really breakfast. Is a nice welcome gesture. Minimal items to be consumed.
