I offer you a reasonable price for a great stay at my delightful Blue Mountain's cottage. Oatley Place is cleaned to the highest NSW Department of Health COVID-19 standard requirement. My cottage sleeps up to 10 people in 4 separate rooms. Relax & unwind in this traditional mountain home, completely self contained for your holiday comfort. Pet dogs are welcome, but please check with me first. No cats are allowed. There is air conditioning and a remote control gas fire place to ensure that you are "warm as toast" in the Winter months, and cool in the Summer months. Conveniently situated within easy walking distance of Echo Point, the Three Sisters, Leura Cascades, Katoomba Cascades, bush walks and Katoomba's cafes, antique shops, Aldi, Coles, Woolworths and galleries. Your pets are welcome, in the secure back yard. Your children can play safely as well. Oatley Place includes: *Pin number entrance. No keys required. *Linens/towels are supplied. *Free unlimited Wifi and free access to Netflix, Youtube, ABC Iview, SBS Movies on Demand. *Electric blankets on all beds, for the winter nights. *Ample doonas and blankets supplied. *Continuous gas hot water system for both bathrooms, kitchen. Never runs cold. *HD Digital TV x 2, DVD player, CD/Cassette/Radio. *Books, board games. *Electric heaters in all bedrooms. *Gas log fire in lounge. *Air conditioned. *Gas stove/oven, micro wave in kitchen. *Dishwasher, fridge. *Fully fenced back yard suitable for your dogs. Yes, dog friendly for well trained dogs. *Cats are not allowed. *BBQ and outdoor furniture on covered 9m x 3.5m rear north facing deck. *High chair in dining room for babies. *Pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, toasters, kettle, toilet paper, hand soap, dish washing tablets supplied, coffee, tea & sugar are complimentary. *Ironing board and steam iron available. *Deal directly with Ted, the owner. Bathroom 2 = Shower, toilet, basin, w/machine, clothes dryer. Both separate and not attached to any bedroom, means no queuing for the loo. We loved our stay at Oatley. The home itself is beautiful character home with spacious rooms, high ceilings and original detail. Ted has equipped it with everything needed to make for an enjoyable stay including electric blankets which we were appreciative of. This quaint little cottage reminds me of my home. It has all you need for an enjoyable stay. Conveniently located to nearby landmarks, tourist attractions, main shops and walking trails. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and its instant warmth. The beds were well made and comfortable. A vast array of books to read and board games to play. Two bathrooms, each with shower and toilet made it easy for our group stay. Would recommend to any small group looking for a weekend getaway of holiday stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our annual trip to Katoomba. Ted’s property was everything we needed. Clean, tidy, organised and well equipped throughout. Plenty of space, two bathrooms and great hot showers! On top of that absolutely central to everything. Will be back for sure.

Thank You Ted for your wonderful accomodation. This home is in the perfect location. Quiet amd clean neighbourhood. Approx 2.5km walk to The 3 sisters / Echo Point and close to the shops and restaurants. It’s all walking distance. Spacious home, with all the amenities. Plenty of heating (electric blankets, oil heaters and more). All you need to bring are your clothes as the house is fully equipped. Tea, Coffee, sugar, foil, glad wrap , washing detergents and the list goes on. My dogs loved running in the secure garden and there is even a dog house. No complaints at all and will Definately be back.

This is the third time we have stayed at 8 Oatley Place. I guess this must something for the premises and facilities. We want a place that is quiet but close to town and amenities This house is roughly half way between Katoomba township and Echo Point. Both being in easy walking distance. The house has excellent heating and all the equipment including BBQ that you could possibly need. We only ate in for breakfast so did not use much beyond toaster, fridge and kettle. If we return to Katoomba this will again be our property of choice.

Our family - and importantly Fergus our dog - enjoyed our stay in Ted's cottage. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped for the five of us. It was well-located in a quiet street and a pleasant walk to sights and Katoomba's shops. The back yard was secure and ideal for Fergie to play in.

Oatley House did not disappoint! It had everything you need plus more. We were completely self sufficient without having to buy extra things like washing powder, glad wrap, salt and pepper, glad wrap. The property was immaculate and fantastic location. 10 min walk to the three sisters and 10 min relaxed easy walk to city centre. No need to use your car. Very very quiet area. An old worldly boutique stay ! Bring your walking shoes and you won’t be disappointed!! Great property Ted. Thank you. Our dog was also impressed with the safe and secure backyard with plenty of space to play ball many times per day. Highly recommend this property and location.

This was a great house. Perfect for both a couple or a family/ extended family. Large rooms, comfy beds and an extremely well equipped kitchen, everything needed to cook up a storm, if you wanted. Easy walking distance to coffee and food. Short drive to lots of sight seeing options. We would highly recommend and would definately stay again.

We had a great time. Older building which has been done up. Tall ceilings in front rooms. Plenty of hot water, modern kitchen, seperate lounge giving 3 living areas including the veranda. Short walk to RSL and coffee shop, takeaway and down to 3 sisters. Parking for two cars. Street is narrow meaning any other cars would have to park in the side street which is very close.

Perfect house for a small group, plenty of mountains charm and lots of thoughtful inclusions. Great outdoor deck and safe enclosed yard for a furry friend(much appreciated!!). Quiet and private feel but close to town centre. A gem, thanks Ted.
