About this house rental

Located in Lake Erie, this attractive house for $477 per night is a great option for your next trip. This beautiful piece of heaven is perfect for a couple or a large family. It was completely renovated in 2010 and has CENTRAL air conditioning. It is on the banks of Lake Erie and has every amenity you would expect from the word 'luxury.' High Speed WIFI, Roku with movie streaming, outdoor picnic area, fire pit, barbecue grill, Cuisinart appliances and cookware, and place settings. Truly a touch of peaceful serenity. There are 3 porches plus a 3-seasons room off the back. The master bedroom has French doors that open onto a private upper deck. The master also sports a coffee bar and small frig just to make life a little easier. The house sleeps 13 but there are so many special places to go, you hardly know there are others in the house. There is a natural gas grill on the back deck, (just turn it on) with TWO refrigerators downstairs. In the evening there is a great firepit for family time and roasting marshmallows while you watch some of the USA's top ten most incredible sunsets. There is private beach access just down the block and there is a guarded sandy beach and playground a mile away at Freeport. The quaint little historic town of North East has a square in the center complete with statue and fountain. It is a sweet little area with a Farmer's Market on Thursday morning, and live concerts and kid friendly events all summer long. Stop in at 'For Olde Tymes Sake' and shop for some great antiques. Mercyhurst College, a restored seminary dating back over 130 years ago is just outside of town and a gorgeous landmark in the area. In town you will also find Bella Day Salon and Spa for a great massage in a Victorian elegant mansion. The food in the area is amazing. Foodies will love the authentic local Italian, Polish and German cuisines. We will leave you a list of some of our favorites. We can't leave out that this is a 'Fisherman's Paradise.' With walleye and Lake Erie perch Charters available daily to fly fishing in local creeks for incredible trout. If you're not catching, you're not showing up. Don't forget to book your time for the gorgeous Autumn leaves. You walk outside and the smell of fresh grapes permeates the air. Pumpkin patches, apple cider, gorgeous leaves and late summer vegetables are everywhere. Winter will offer you lots of opportunity to take advantage of Peek 'N Peak Resort and Spa, only 20 miles up the road. Snow skiing, ski-dooing, tubing, cross country skiing and just plain winter fun. You are more than welcome to come visit our gorgeous vacation home no matter what the season. And we know you will love it as much as everyone else who has come to visit.

We had a lovely time at this nice home on Lake Erie. The neighborhood beach down the street was quiet and perfect for swimming, exploring, and skipping rocks. We were 30 minutes away from many other vacation activities, like Presque Isle, Waldemeer, and mini golf, but right in the heart of the wineries.

We had a great week at this beautiful house. The kitchen was large and great for 3 of us to all me cooking. Table large enough for the 9 of us to all eat at. It was great having to refrigerators. Plenty of room for food in one and drinks in the other. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen, laundry room, extra beach towels, and sand toys for the kids. This house is supplied with a lot. The owner was quick to respond to anything I messaged about. Very informative with any questions I had. If there was anything I could suggest to be different, it would be to trim the stuff growing at the lakes edge. Being a short person, I could not take a picture without weeds and stuff in my sunset pictures. Other than that, I couldn't really complain. It was a nice place to stay. P.S. On the listing it looks like there is a room with 3 single beds and a bunk bed. It only has a bunk bed with a trendle under it. No additional 3 singles.

Having never done Vrbo before I was a little nervous as to how the entire process would work. My worry was for nothing. Adorable house, easy check in & check out process. Fully stocked kitchen, wonderful view. I could go on & on. Would definitely do again!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The large kitchen was great for preparing meals. The multiple TV's and Roku was an added perk for relaxing in the evenings, after days full of activities.

Our party of 5 stayed for the second time at this property recently. The house is on a cliffside overlooking the lake. Relaxing in the backyard includes stunning views and sunsets, bald eagles and hawks flying overhead, and the sound of the waves crashing into the cliff. The house is well appointed with everything upscale in the kitchen and every room. If you stay here you will be very well pleased.

We have vacationed in many homes and I always arrive first so I am able to clean before anyone else arrives. I spent my cleaning time enjoying the view and some silence because this house was so clean! The view and setting are beautiful … the house is comfortable and well appointed. The layout is odd/difficult with the kitchen on the first floor and the deck (outdoor eating) is on the second floor so be prepared for pre-dinner exercise.

The property was absolutely wonderful. We had more than enough room. Having the lake view was extremely peaceful. We were able to sit in the sunroom, with the screen to the outside open, and listen to the sound of light waves. It was pretty wet and cool, so we weren't able to sit outside. Overall all 3 of us enjoyed ourselves and hated to leave!

This is a perfect Lakehouse for relaxing with friends: a five minute walk to a private pebbled beach, great deck and porch, a well furnished kitchen, and large beds with comfortable firm mattresses. Jennifer is an extremely accommodating host. Our travel plans were complicated by unexpected personal circumstances, and she generously worked with us to ensure that we got the get away that we so desired. Thanks so much, Jennifer!

The property was overall accommodating; listing was not accurate on number of beds however but we had adequate bedding for our group. Check in was delayed due to Cleaning person still on site finishing up. View of Lake Erie and sunsets were amazing. Overall had good time.
