Everything about this property was wonderful! Vinny and Sheelagh are great hosts. The room was very comfortable and prepared with a nice continental breakfast, including yogurt, cereal, croissants, fruit, coffee, tea, etc. It was a short walk to Bunratty Castle and local restaurants. We stayed there because of the short trip to Shannon airport at the end of our Ireland trip…..a quick taxi ride away. Highly recommend this accommodation!

The location was perfect for shopping and to Bunratty Castle. The house and surrounding are are beautiful. breakfast wasn’t included so we were surprised and very happy when Sheelagh and Vinnie brought us fruit, bakery items, salmon and milk. Orange juice, jellies and yogurt were already in the fridge.
The only thing that would make it more comfy would be new pillows.

This location is located on a hill 1 km from the entrance to Bunratty Castle. Great distance for an evening walk after dinner at the castle! The accommodation is comfortable, the hostess is incredibly caring, friendly and hospitable. The room has everything you need for life. There are very fresh and tasty products - bread, croissants, prosciutto, fruits; the mini fridge has yoghurts, jam, milk and juice. The morning starts with a cup of coffee brewed in a coffee machine. My son and I really enjoyed it. We hope to stay here on our next visit. Would recommend this booking 100%!

Very close the Bunratty Castle! Modern, cute, and clean with a pretty setting that the rooms overlooked. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to the room the night before so we could eat whenever we woke up. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the stay to friends.

clean, quiet, comfortable, breakfast.
We had one of the garden rooms. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There are extra thick curtains to block all the night, we slept amazingly. Sheila the owner met us at the car park, a delightful person to deal with. She left an amazing breakfast in the room the night before, with various types of bread, scones, butter, jam, fresh salmon, cream cheese…

This lovely room was bright and comfortable with a wonderful view of the lawn and gorgeous hillside beyond. Our hosts were very friendly and provided us with a bountiful breakfast. They were quick to respond and offered local restaurant suggestions. We came to the area for Bunrutty Castle and highly recommend Tudor Lodge, would absolutely stay again.

We were running late into the evening for check-in after a long drive and the proprietor still met us for a warm greeting and to give us a quick overview of our accommodations and overstocked refrigerator. The breakfast was greatly appreciated the next morning as we were headed out early to the airport. This was a very convenient stop over to the airport.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Vinny & Sheelagh we’re amazing. Their breakfast and hospitality were a 10. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet spot that is conveniently located within walking distance (bit of a hill) to public transportation, plus room to park if you have a car.
