Very nice and comfortable place. Quite and close to the center. A lot of space on the back yard and big kitchen with all facilities. The host provide all information about the must visit places around which was so helpful for us ❤️
Really nice place to stay.

First of all, there was no need for codes or electrical opening. All the doors are opend by key, and it was really nice and comfortable for us. Second we liked that there was a big garden and we could sit there and chill.
We liked that there was a washing machine and there were lines to hang the laundry. There were lots of kitchen equipment which was really nice.
It was 20 minutes walk from the center.
The hosts were so welcoming and nice and attentive to our needs.
The house is big and you have lots of space and big table or couches.
The light in the toilet was flashing or didn't work at all. Bathroom was sometimes dirty from others people and there was nothing to clean it with. The kitchen towels should be replaced more often.

It’s very beautiful house with everything you need. Nice garden to play with children. Not far away from the centre.

The owner of the place was extremely nice and ready to help.
The place is well located with a short walk to the city centre and the train station.
Our neighbours were a bit noisey.

I had a room upstairs and it was peaceful, didn't hear the traffic during night. The kitchen has everything.
The room had this weird smell. I could hear everything that was happening in the hall, but luckily the other guest weren't noisy.

There accommodations were perfect for the three of us. it was nice being able to share a large room…very comfortable beds. I slept soundly. The location was easy not in the tourist area, but was a nice 10-15 minute walk.
I loved every bit of it.

First and foremost the host and the hostess are super kind and friendly. Mr. Paulo (our host) was so kind that he even picked us up from train station as we had luggage. Explained everything on the map, area of interest, everything. The place is super awesome.
Nothing at all

The host was very kind and professional, he welcome us and showed us around, the whole place is clean and well equipped (even washing machine!). We shared the bathroom with only one room and it was lockable, so it was quite ok. There is a beautiful garden, where one can eat and even make a bbq. Getting to the center and the beach is quite easy by foot or by bus. The room was little too hot, without AC or fan, so that was a little downside. Otherwise, we enjoyed the place a lot and I would recommend it!

Lovely old, quirky Cascais house with a huge garden that has been done up as a guesthouse. Spotlessly clean and great value for money. I needed a crashpad for a night in Cascais as I was in town for a meeting and did not want to waste a ton of money on overpriced hotels. My room had an ensuite bathroom which was great.

A little noisy for me

Paulo, the host is incredible helpful and friendly. He picked us up from the station as we had a huge luggage. The baby of our group got sick and he also took us to the hospital and stayed with to explain the symptoms in the reception. The property has all the needed facilities to cook, wash cloth and enjoy the garden.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here, it was exactly as I expected. We both get up during the night so I reserved the private room with bath; it was nice to have our own shower as well. Our beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, the shower worked very well and the place was very quiet. There were other guests but we hardly ever saw or heard them. We didn't mind the 15 minutes walk to the main part of the town as we like to get exercise so for us that wasn't an issue. We felt that for what we paid especially in this lovely little city which has it all, well, we got a good deal. We'd love to return and stay here some day! Communication with the proprietors was excellent! thank you.
nothing....it is what it is! we were happy there

It’s a low price for a private room with a kitchen and garden.
It’s about 15-20 minute walk to the center.
The house feels unmaintained. It’s not very clean, but it’s ok. We had some other guests in the house who were loud and drunk. That happens.

Lovely guest house with great facilities - we had a big terrace off our room, plus the garden, shared kitchen, dining room and living room. Kids loved the garden, great spot for meals and relaxing a bit in the day. Perfect hosts, really thoughtfuland helpful.

Our hosts were very helpful, and spoke English. Thank you. She loaned us a beach umbrella too. Thanks. The bathroom had a double sink so two can get ready at once. There were two showers and two separate bathrooms to accommodate all their guests. Parking for free is next door.
In Ireland prior to departure, booking.com showed location as “undisclosed location”, which kind of is a bit off putting when filling out the necessary locator forms for entry into Portugal. I called and quickly received by whatsapp the address. Once we landed in Portugal, booking.com shows the physical address. I had never seen this before so must just be a glich with booking website. All other destinations booked showed the address after booking. Thankfully he answered our call (sorry for calling so early!). We enjoyed our quick two day stay. Everything was very clean.

+ very clean
+ spacious
+ easy parking in car park next door
- mattress sagged and was well past use by date
- felt more like a boarding house than a guest house (there was nothing homely about the guest home), and most definitely did not have a holiday feel

Fantastic location, very convenient walk to Cascais center. Several nice places to eat nearby. The room was quite comfortable, had a balcony, plus there is a beautiful garden with lots of space. Everything you need is there. The host, Paulo, was very friendly and helpful from start to finish.
Some other guests smoked cigarettes at night with the door open and the smell lingered a bit, but not much the host can do about that.

We loved the garden and other communal areas. The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Kitchen was really well equipped. Very clean and pleasant place.
