This was perfect for a girls weekend getaway. The cabin was nice and cozy with a beautiful view of the lake. Angela was amazing with answering all of my questions and gave us recommendations as well. It was easy to find the location during the day. However, I do not recommend arriving during the night because it is very dark and the sign is not lite so you can easily miss your turn into the cabin. Would definitely like to return with the family during warmer weather to have enjoyed the outdoor amenities offered in the resort. Great spot highly recommend. Only complaint from one of my guests was one of the mattresses in the bedroom from the upper unit should be replaced. She stated it was very uncomfortable to sleep on that mattress.

Short fall weekend stay
Short fall weekend stay
Very nice beach area, deck, beautiful view from the deck. We were there a short fall weekend, cold and super windy so didn’t get to enjoy the beach, etc. this cabin is right on the water and a nice big common area in the upper area. Property manager was responsive addressed my a few details that needed taking care of.. we want to try and stay there again in the summer months.

The property manager was not very friendly from the beginning. After that I received the welcome email it said there would be a key and a welcome letter when we got there and there wasn’t. So I called the property manager Josh and he wasn’t professional and seemed annoyed. We eventually found out there’s a code and it’s a welcome binder on the table to the side with the code in it... I just think there’s a very big lack of communication. The deck and stairs were falling apart and the sliding door had a broken handle. They also don’t provide towels or toilet paper which for the price you pay they should. The view was the best part of the stay.

Location is fine. Cabins are cute. We stayed in Cabin 8. Has upstairs & downstairs but they are NOT connected; you have to go outside and re-enter each level. There is no indoor staircase. The good: Views, fresh air, location The bad: Lower unit door wouldn't lock, Slider hand locks with stick, laundry is in lower unit so you have to carry soiled clothing from upstairs outside to bottom unit. Upper unit fridge had no pull handle, slider door handle fell off, dead batteries in TV remote, when we opened the slider door to the deck, the entire screen door fell off, bringing your own towels, washcloths, TP, & paper towels, was very inconvenient. The Worse: King size bed very uncomfortable, like a springy balloon, pretty sure the sheets hadn't been changed. That's a HUGE disgusting failure in my mind. BOTH beds in the upper unit had visible sand between the sheets. The smaller bed also had balled up paper towel remnants along with the sand. The lower unit had "worse" things on the sheets. We hand swept the floors about a zillion times from all the sand everywhere.. and it was tough keeping up. And we never went on the beach. Sand is just everywhere. There were 2 vacuum cleaners - neither work (no suction). Several lights don't work, bathtub/shower combo VERY slow draining, plan on standing in a couple inches of your own dirty water before you finish showering. I text the prop. manager about the remote not working, the reply was, "It was working yesterday". I bought batteries and replaced them myself. The ONLY reason we stayed after the above listed conditions was because we had a house fire and were desperate for a place (We only live a couple miles away from this place). I sincerely hope they fix this place up. It could be very, very nice.
